It’s okay to ask question once or twice but if your going to ask these precious kids the same question over and over about the death of there father is already insulting. That’s not the way you approach under age kids. Your interrogating them .

Kimmi Hamilton sometimes it’s good to ask the children how they are feeling, how else can they express. It’s not good to not be able to to say how you feel specially a child. It makes them acknowledge that someone cares and it’s special to tell another individual how they loved their father and to let others know how special they are. When I was a child I had relatives pass away and that’s how we coped as children you talk about the good times when they were here.
It was like reading their diary it felt wrong. their ten I lost my dad at 14 when people asked questions I wanted to punch them in the face.I know their taping their lives to make a point but it just felt wrong.

It is sometimes an honor to give respect to a deceased father who so loved by his children, because he was a kind-hearted man and a good father. His memory is worth to remember.
Any of these stories pull so HARD at the heart strings. Their Aunt Lily has the most beautiful heart & soul - I felt their pain. It ONLY motivates me MORE to want to do things to HELP.

He’s just asking. His intention was not to offend anybody. It’s ok to express their feeling of sadness rather than trying to deny and suppress them. He’s actually said kind and nice words about their father, so don’t judge. He’s actually being compassionate about these kids.

You should watch a few episodes of Oprah to see her, one of the greatest professionals in the interview/talk show business, do the same thing. The truth is, it makes for good dramatic content, it helps to make viewers have pity on the subject of the interview and as such moves them to donate, and it is healthy for people to release emotions.

Talking about departed loved ones is a massive way of coping when you are hurting, especially in the Philippines. The more you talk about it, the better it is because it's a form of relief and eases the pain somehow one is feeling. That's why we have no need for psychotherapists, psychiatrists and psychologists which the poor cannot access anyway. So our way of lessening that big hole in the heart, is to talk and talk about it.
