As a steeler fan, Ray Lewis is my favorite defensive player of all time. He is someone I would go to war and die for. I miss hard hitting defense. Thank goodness I grew up watching hard hitters.

The speech at 4:36 is what made Ray Lewis the best team captain in the NFL! Just minutes ago you lost the AFC Championship game that you would've and should've won if not for a dropped td followed by a missed field goal in the closing seconds. Everyone is either mad or sad as hell and the kicker was dealing with all that guilt. Ray wasn't mad or pouting to himself quietly in his locker he was busy rounding the team up and said all the perfect things that needed to be said to take away deep emotional pain for 60 or so men!

Whatever Ray Lewis may have done is in the past. I believe in a system where once a person has changed from who they once were, they are no longer guilty and should not be condemned for what they did in the past. Ray Lewis has been one of the greatest role models for any athlete to look up to. He teaches you that you can accomplish anything you set your eyes on. He's a resilient and dedicated person who inspires others to bring out the greatness within themselves. If you still have a problem with who he is, then shame on you.
