I like the Battle of Ryloth, both this one and particularly the one with Ima Gun Di and Captain Keeli, because it showed the droid army for what it was, murder machine built to overwhelm smarter species. That particular battle also showed that even victories came at a dire cost at times. Plus, that epic final stand. Great, now I gotta watch this show again

10:55 if you ever seen the animated clone wars 2003 miniseries, Obi wan spoke the Alien language that he and anakin ran into and said “When you travel with Qui-Gon Jin you tend to pick up a few things” Qui-Gon probably taught him.
The gunship at 2:33 on the video is called Spaceward Ho! it's a LAAT (not surprisingly) and it's artwork is a pin up of a twi'lek in a seductive manner, cool to have that artwork in an episode where the republic is helping free the species from the separatists. I like to see these gunships that have names.
That droid who kept kicking the Twi'leks was great! He was not having a good day though 😔.

You can actually see a little drawing of the Twi'Lek girl on either Boil or Waxer's helmet whenever they pop up after this arc. And in Rebels, a Twi'Lek appears a few times who is wearing clone armor on her arm with the same colors as Boil and Waxer's
That Twi'Lek in Rebels actually is Numa, Cham confirms it when he introduces her to the Ghost crew ins S2E16

Vulture droids always fall apart the same way, wings split, heads depart the body. Example at 1:15

If you pay attention to the sounds you can hear the engines rev up struggling to keep the ship in the sky after the flak knocks out the port engine, It's a surprise Michael didn't notice this.

At 8:06 you were talking about how the beast was standing over the body. In that episode the driod mentioned that the beasts haven't received food. So the body is probably dead and it was yelling at the other one to back off. Love your videos!
Or it killed it and is protecting its food source. Cannibalism is common amongst starving animals, some will even eat their own babies to survive. Nature be brutal.
@@avatariroh0543 yea, but nature also isn't uniform, many animals don't do any kind of cannibalism, most don't narrowed down to omnivores and carnivores and it's not to uncommon, but even still, that cannibalism is held out, it's more likely that the body is dying and the split is between 2 different packs put in the same area

I don't know why, but for some reason, the beasts that the tactical droid keeps locked up remind of real life stink bugs, and I hate that thought a lot. I just imagine that if the beasts aren't killed a certain way, they release a foul odor that stretches out a good distance

Clone wars were brutal
Clone Wars Season 1 is so underrated and abit overhated? alot of people start to say Season 1 is weak but i feel that's because no one has gone back to actually watch them and are basing it off their recent memory of it. When you actually watch it, you start the notice the series started to pick up even in the first season and every season onwards just improved each other which is why i understand if it isn't as memorable as the rest. Still love it though as alot of great moments.
You should do the 2003 clone wars. They have great battles

10:51-10:55 that twi'lek they rescue is Numa. She becomes a major character in the Ryloth episodes of Rebels, and Even got some of Boil's armour later.

I never noticed the similarities between T-19s and B-Wings, that’s pretty cool because I do spend a lot of time looking at the evolution of Star Wars aircraft (for example, I feel like there’s connections between ARC-170 and X-wing)
If we're talking X-Wing predecessors I'd say the Z-95 is the best candidate but I can definitely also see the similarities with the ARC-170

I have played Vader immortal and it is super fun. My favorite part is picking up storm troopers and flinging them away.
What I love about the second episode of the arc is that when the Twi'leks begin to mob the tactical droid, Obi-wan covers Numa's eyes but she ducks under and lifts his hand to watch anyways. Obi-was was like "Don't watch, it's too gruesome." while Numa is all "But I wanna watch too."

12:27 there was this other thing around 2015 called “Jedi Challenges” it had this lightsaber controller and you put your phone in the headset. It was more augmented reality than virtual reality but it had the headset and everything. You could fight sith, stormtroopers and battle droids. And at some point you could unlock this mode where you fight Jedi like yoda and Rey.

I couldn’t agree more about Disney needing to make games in the Clone Wars era. I wanna be a jedi leading my own legion of clones and be able to customize their armor. They could make it so your commander is your companion in combat with certain sections where you play as him like Atreus in God of War.

It's a big budget, sure, but not enought to make shows like Andor while also pumping out a massive amount of video games.
Maming videogames isn't expensive, the advertising for them is, most the budget for every triple A game out there is spent on marketing

9:59- I thought the Clone turned around and realized he was being backed into a corner so instead of fighting the obvious losing battle he either went down a alley way that could have been there (but doubtful) or he went into the building (which is possible but you would think that creature would at least try to break down the door!?! I don’t know, I really don’t know how smart those things are?!? And this show didn’t really try to make them seem intelligent in any way…. But that’s because killing a dumb animal in a show is fine.
