Ever since "We're just clones. We're meant to be expendable." "Not to me." I always got punched right in the gut by Plo Koon's death in Order 66.
Imagine being George Lucas and spending so many hours to add these little details for people to only notice them when a CZcamsr makes a video after 16 years of release...
That was Staas Allie. Adi Gallia died during the clone wars, and her death was a lot more Savage.
Haha cause she was killed by Savage Opress

Detail I noticed when Secura dies; When the clone levels the blaster at her, her first reaction is to look in the direction he's aiming expecting an ambush or something. She trusted them that much to not question them pointing blasters directly at her back.
When George Lucas’ son was cutting up clones, one moved back a bit early because the padawan telegraphing his moves pretty clearly and the clone was trying to dodge. Didn’t really work out for him though.
That was Appo who actually survived and continued to lead the 501st as its Commander under Vader for the first few years of the Empire. Appo notably was featured in the Umbara Arc with the arrow on his helmet and had experience fighting Pong Krell.
@@thelieutenant7732 Is that canon? If so, *NICE*
@@acedelta12 Well it's on the Star Wars wiki and there were some comics made about it too, Appo's too small of a character for Disney to really care either unless they retcon his life and death in the Bad Batch.

@@MichaelJaeYT or mabye the battle of courasant in the 2003 clone wars
Yes
Cin Drallig was considered the greatest lightsaber duelist, having taught younglings their forms. So the fact that Anakin was able to defeat him with one hand shows how powerful and how great of a fighter Anakin really was
Not the greatest duelist but the greatest instructor. Second was that weequay Jedi that fell to the dark side
@@thrawnedits5860 sora bulq? No way he's not in the top 5. The only thing he's noted for is helping mace create vappad and falling to the dark side shortly afterwards.
@@Zaron_Gaming Sora bulq was considered second I believe among instructors
They really like to ham up all the "power level" bullshit, don't they?
I bet some writer doing a tie-in for the movie saw this scene and thought "let's say that this guy is a god-like duelist in the temple instead of just some mook, it'll make Anakin look EVEN MORE GOD-LIKE", even though to the casual viewer he's still just a mook who dies, and all the other Jedi are still being blaster-ed, and the most impressive attempt at fighting back we see is from a kid on a landing pad (which actually does look somewhat impressive for a few seconds).
@@mitchellhayward6492 that kid is actually George’s Lucas son, Jett Lucas. I met him at a convention alongside the Aayla Secura actress and the boba fett stuntman. I agree they go out like bitches in the movie which the worst case for me is actually Kit fisto who was a badass in legends and the clone wars, which is why I like the legends revenge of the sith death where he dies because Anakin presence through him off and palpatine got enough time to behead him. But yeah it does get kind of annoying how every duelist is a top tier although it is just the most famous Jedi, besides the main ones. I think in legends it was stated because if the war the only Jedi left were average ones at the temple so Anakin needed to kill Shaak ti and fin stalling first because they were the only ones who could even potentially hurt him at that point. I see your point as it does get annoying how every character is a god tier, I would prefer it if only a couple background ones like plo koon, Kit fisto, and sashee tinn were top tier
8:02 this Droid is actually a named character, his name is Dan. During the course of the clone wars he distinguished himself with the killing of a jedi Palawan, earning him the rank of lieutenant shortly before the battle of Kashyyyk. He survived the battle, however, due to the end of the war, Dan was never able to get his missing parts from the battle repaired.
Fun fact: apparently during the scene where Anakin was gonna shushi roll the younglings, Hayden screamed or rather yelled to spook the kid which is why the kid steps back a bit
(Could be wrong but it's still funny to think about)
I mean now that you said “sushi roll the younglings” it’s hilarious 😂
You're right, the actor to played the kid said as much in an interview
Omg I forgot about that 😂 I would love to see the bts of that shot
Anakin: Boo.
@@CHRF-55457 lmao
That is not just a jedimaster anakin is fighting off with one hand, that is the lightsabecombat trainer of the jeditemple, and anakin fought him off with ease. WITH ONE HAND
Anakin fought many Jedi Masters with ease 🤯 if not most of them in the temple
Anakin doesn't get the combat respect he deserves at the Temple. He literally takes out multiple Jedi Masters easily and we see him do it with one hand.
I know we see a more badass Anakin in the CW series but imagine if the Jedi had really let him just do his thing.
Fighting off Cin Drallig with one hand while choking his padawan!
@@nyxayde Which makes it even more impressive that Obi-Wan was actually holding his own against him.
@@holy8782 it is since Obi-Wan duels more using a defensive style but Anakin was getting the better of him at times but Obi-Wan never truly lost his footing against him
7:33 it looks like it’s supposed to be more of a vulture-like creature, which makes sense since the close is dead. The “claw” is actually just its curved neck bending forward to pick at the corpse, much like a scavenging bird. Also kinda looks like a cockroach because its wings are folded back, giving it a similar appearance to a cockroach with its wings folded back
I love looking in the background of stuff like this to see how much care they put into it, even just the subtle things that make the characters feel more real. Like in that shot you showed at the end from Clone Wars, when Fives shouts at Tup and runs at him, there's a clone in the background that turns his head to look. And I love that because the animators took the time to give this totally random clone this realistic reaction and it feels so much more real when it all piles on, even if you never notice it
Attack of the clones aayla: swings wildly and tries to deflect things
aayla in clone wars: a beast kicking battle droids and taking their heads off
Ikr! In TCW she was awesome!
Makes sense considering her development. In AotC, she was just a Jedi Knight, whereas she earned the rank of master during the events of TCW.
She kicked a B2 in the sensor and sliced it. She was still a badass.
Let’s not forget that the prequels were made before the clone wars
That’s because the actress Amy Allen was digitally rushed in because George Lucas liked the character from dark horse comics, also she wasn’t an actress and she was a production assistant. So she didn’t really get to coreograph much
11:42 look at that amazing shot. there's two clones on obi wan's left side ( they are at the right side of the screen but to obi wan's left ). as obi wan is swinging his saber, the clone in the back shoots one bolt, it bounces off obi wan's blade and hits the clone in front the clone that shot it. then the same clone, as obi wan is again swinging his blade, shoots another bolt and as obi wan's blade is coming down, the bolt bounces again and now hits the same clone that got the other clone killed by his own bolt. the details are so amazing.
SO 👏🏼 FREAKING 👏🏼 GOOD 👏🏼
Interestingly the clone at 10:40, is named and has a Backstory.
He is CC-1119 "Appo"; in Revenge of the Sith he was just a Sergeant, however he would replace Rex as the Clone Commander of the 501st acting as Darth Vader's go to Second in Command; he would later die during Vader's Attack on Kashyyyk shortly after the Clone Wars in 19 BBY. He appears in the Clone Wars TV show, during the Umbara arc as a Sergeant as well.
They also cut the whole Cin Drallig scene from Episode III, I think. I would love to see that scene in its entirety and more Order 66 Jedi Temple stuff in general.
Have you seen the video game adaptation? It should explain some details
@@kantoking1518 I have, yes. But I don't know if that is still considered Canon.
I think the clone that jumps back before he gets sliced is the trooper trying to avoid the swing by falling back, but he doesn't get in the way in time.
Haha rip that guy
How is that not obvious?
that one clone: *fighting obi-wan*
obi-wan: *stabs in pelvis*
every guy in the world after noticing that: *dies*
The Padawan that knocked down those three clones, he jumped into a flip shoving down the first two clones with his arms and completed the flip by knocking down the third clone with his feet. I think he could have become another Obi-Wan or Anakin in skill had he been able to live that long.
Michael Joe: He’s the cutest 800 year old man I have ever seen.

If you want to see those scenes such as Order 66 and the attack on the Jedi temple extended, I would suggest you find the game _Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith._ It’s an older game that has remarkable dueling mechanics, and also has extensions to the short scenes you brought up in this video.
I actually still have my PS2 copy 🥳 I need to replay through it now
@@MichaelJaeYT All i remember from that game is th sick lightsaber battels and that one clone who says im sorrry sir we are no longer requert to follow your orders
Fun fact: Out of the eight named clones who appear in the live action movies, only three of them aren’t seen during order 66 (those being Ponds, Oddball, and Thire)
@Philip Ravas Cody is the only named clone in the movies technically.
And yes, you could count Thire as being present for the order, but I referring to the montage of the various units turning on their Jedi, which he was not part of

So nice to see all these together at this speed! I must say, that I noticed many of them almost the very first time I saw the movie, like a Jedi girl grabbed by her neck or a flying battle droid. George Lucas always paid attention to details, and I guess to some degree fans and people who appreciate his work, also come to notice and enjoy the deepness of every shot he put so much effort into. I din't know about Saleucami bugs or Yoda Force pushing the clones though. :D
12:53 This scene was actually planed to be in the original cut of the attack on the Jedi temple, but it was so brutal that they then would have had to make the film r-Rated so they just used it as a hologramm! Nice video btw
4:15 so that guy right there is part of the Galactic Marines WHO have fought off against b2 battle droids in hand to hand combat.... so makes sense for him to Dodge a blaster shot.
👀 That’s pretty cool
Yea Bacara only wanted the absolute best in his corps, and would transfer out any clones that weren't up to his standards out of the 21st Nova corps.
At 10:27 The actor who plays that young Jedi was I believe George Lucas' own son, Jett Lucas.
"There's been a rebellion sir. Don't worry, the situation is under control. *Raises Blaster* I'm sorry sir, But it's time for you to leave!" - Commander Appo of the 501st, Operation: Knightfall
was it really appo? Wasnt he a null arc
I love how Vader just chokes out a Jedi and one hand fights Cin Dralak
fun fact: when the clones go all order 66 on Aayla, they raise their blasters, Aayla looks and sees they have their blasters raised forward, and then looks to the seperatists to see what made them raise them.
She turns her back to them knowing their blasters were raised in her direction because she couldn't fathom them being raised on her.
Also, order 66 was also shown in the clone wars, the bad batch, and jedi: fallen order. every time they introduce a jedi tha lived through the purge, you tend to also have an order 66 reminder

Felucia is home to pretty much all of the most terrifying star wars creatures such as rancors, acklays, and even sarlaacs. I would never set foot on felucia out of pure fear of encountering any deadly creatures. Great video man keep up the good work!!!
I feel bad for that one clone who has his arm sliced off and left to die by yoda
As Lightsabers cauterize wounds, he is actually likely to survive, as he would suffer no blood loss. Though it must be indeed immensely painful, so he was likely knocked out by the pain.

You touched on it at the end, but you've gotta do the Order 66 stuff from Clone Wars and Bad Batch. Especially Ahsoka fighting on the Venator bridge.
Here's a cool bit of lore you might not know. The clone who tries to dodge at 11:04 is Appo from The Clone Wars tv show, he was only wounded and survived. I am curious though if this originally was just a choreograph mistake where the actor reacted too early from being hit with a lightsaber and they fixed it by adding this bit of lore or if it was always intended to be like this.

I wanna say that plo koon was able to use the force to make a force field for the split second his ship began lighting on fire and then got off the ship by using the force to open a hole on the ship to get out from the back and then jump down out of the shot once the ship had already passed the building. He could have got out of shot and dropped down to avoid being seen by the clones, after all he could have sensed their presence watching him crash.
