    The Shore Troopers have one of the nicest and coolest armor, the coolest thing is to see their ranks by seeing the colors of the armor.
    Sergeants were identified with a red armlet on the left arm and a white and black band on the left paldron.
    And the leading Squadron Sergeants had a blue sash above their breastplates on the pads and a bed attached to their bells.
    Already the captain wore the paint on the breastplate, going down to the left armband with a yellow color to the glove. And not to mention its double-barreled E-22 blaster.

      I really loved all of the aesthetics in Rogue One, it perfectly, PERFECTLY, captured the feeling of the Original Trilogy and Star Wars itself. Everytime I get a chance to appreciate it I always get that feeling that it should be my favorite Star Wars movie but I can never bring myself to put it above all the rest because I know others are better but rogue one just hits different for me, and not a bad different. It’s near perfection. The only thing holding it back is the kinda slow first act but by the time that the third act begins I am immediately fully invested. 5:28 the energy is due to bing hit by an ion heavy rifle. Lore wise the AT-ACT or cargo AT-AT are equipped with many stabilizers and repulsers at the joints which help them stand. These walkers are 1.5 times bigger and with cargo can be serval times heavier than a normal at-at. Although a few moments before that moment a Clone Trooper literally gets his head crushed by a Super Battle Droid, you don't really get to see it but for a brief moment you can see some blood splashing unto the inside of the visor, probably one of the most violent moments in the cartoon.

    The blue lights on the walker are from the ionized (blue) blaster burning out the electronics in the legs, which is what causes them to collapse.
    The TIE Striker probably wasn’t used much more because (I mean, it wasn’t in the other movies, really) it’s atmosphere only and I suppose there’s no point having them anywhere but a ground base since they can’t really be deployed by a Star Destroyer.
    Oh yea, the Death Troopers (depending on sources) have either a voice scrambler that their helmets translate so nobody can overhear (I mean just using headphones would probably work too but ok) or they have their own “secret language” they use not to be understood by others.
    Alderrans’ destruction was on full power, the Death Star didn’t actually destroy scariff, on its lowest setting the Death Star basically just dropped a MASSIVE nuke, probably the same power setting the 2nd one was using to snipe rebel ships during the battle of Endor
    I uh, I think I caught most the lore questions?

    • @katsarelas1947
      @katsarelas1947 Před 2 lety +1

      There’s actually a big explanation in one of the source books that says something along the lines of “ATAT variants have some kinda anti-grav things in their legs because the legs are actually not strong enough to hold its full weight” (which…begs some design questions…) and the tall variant on Scarif didn’t have proper defense against ionized shots disabling the ones in their legs, but the ATAT’s on Hoth were shorter, and had the proper armoring in that area, so it didn’t work there.
