Located in Essex, CT, the Valley Railroad is one of New England's premier steam tourist railroads. This railroad runs along the Connecticut River, and some of the most spectacular scnerey anywhere! Not only is thier line great, thier equipment is in tip-top condition, making the whole experience even better. In this clip, you'll get views from above, below, along side, and even on board the train. If this doesn't want to make you visit this fine operation, then I don't what will. For more info on the Essex Steam Train, please visit thier website: www.essexsteamtrain.com
Another great video! The various angles and locations made this yet another video in my Penn Rail Videos favorites.
Thanks

This sure is a lovely video. We have a little 2'0" gauge WW1 Baldwin 4-6-0T up in North Wales.. gotta be reboilered first which is gonna happen soon. When it does I'm sure my ex Central Vermont 5 chime will sound just as sweet..
@OdaConnProductions If it's an average size camcorder, it should fit under with no problems or without digging into the ballast.
I was shot at various locations through out the day (like more of my videos) and it's put together to look like one round trip.
this is true. Its another mikado type, and they are going to restore it, and put her in former New Haven livery.
Locomotive # 103 i have heard it used to run the essex passenger cars till they got so many it couldnt handle the load . so they got 40 and 97 to pull.
