Hello friends! I wanted to share my story to help others handle the unexpected in birth. It is possible to have things not go to plan and to still enjoy the experience with the right mindset. I hope this video finds the soon-to-be mothers looking for it. I feel like birth and death are so hidden from public view that they become scary. The more we see, the more we can navigate through these times with openness ❤ It was an out-of-body experience where time stopped. Even the surgery was magical, seeing them operate on my body without feeling it. You get to see yourself like a movie. I would do it all over again in the exact same way. Take whatever life brings you as exactly what was meant and know you'll be okay ❤

Goodness. Thank you for sharing this personal story. I'm so glad you've been about to take it all in stride.
I can relate to much of your story. My daughter was born at 24 weeks so you can imagine, my experience was very far from perfect. But she she i are both here and she is thriving and that's what matters the most.
Couple that with the fact that I'm also a registered nurse... Your story gave me palpitations a few times 😅😅😅
😆 my friends who are nurses were scared for me! But I trusted that everything would be okay, and it was! 24 weeks is so early! Far from what you imagined I'm sure. But yes, that both of you are thriving and doing great is all that matters!!

Why I feel there was a risk because of the time water broke till birth time was too long
yes I agree it was too long. My midwife was not veyr knowledgable unfortunately. I am still a big advocate for home births, but make sure your midwife is experienced!
