That's why I went with the Pro-line lowering kit. No problems.
Didn't even need an alignment after the install.
First of all, the wisdom teeth analogy was genius! Also, I’ve heard both stories mostly that one doesn’t need the arms or bolts, but no one ever follows up like you have. Thank you man for this vid! The mod is still on my radar.
I was hot that I had to go through all this but I'm glad I could inform ya'll
You wont need those camber bolts with a prokit or equivalent spring drop. Anything more than 1.5 drop you will need camber bolts or control arms to do proper alignment.
With the pro kit do you need to change anything or can you use everything factory and just swap out to pro kit springs
@@1323rodriguez Use everything that’s factory is fine.
@@JBWHITEGT nice perfect but if I was to go with the sportline kit I’d probably need to change some stuff huh can’t use factory parts
@@1323rodriguez Nah you can still run them but your camber will wear your tires out quicker. Your cornering will be better but drag racing may be hindered slightly because of the camber and not having full tire patch on the ground properly. My opinion stay away from sport line or anything equivalent on the Challenger or Chargers. You will scrap on things you shouldn’t. I did it twice. My 17 Challenger I went with HR and I scraped on everything. My 2020 challenger i went with Godspeed springs and they were way better than HR and the drop wasn’t as low. I believe Godspeed springs are made in Japan so most things made there are of decent quality.
@@JBWHITEGT got you but your just looking into so problem later n the long run huh.!? Yea I don’t race or anything I just want that nice low not to high look so I hope the pro kit will be best but what is your opinion on the pro kit will I scrap a lot as well.! Yea I’m not looking forward to the sportline
2 things. First, thanks for sharing that info because most people probably wouldn't know that. And second, now that you have new tires without the funny little tire stickers, please consider removing the funny little white scraper guards and join the rest of the grown ups. One love young blood!
Kelly my guy lol, always love seeing your comments man lol. Trust me I feel you lol
@@JRTProductions Lol one love bruh. ☝
Challengers don’t have factory camber adjustments. For the rear. The alignment camber bushings. By spc will help. The front you will need upper controls arms
Wish they gave me all that info from the jump, I wouldn't have had all the back and forth lol
@@JRTProductions its hard to get clear answers sometimes CZcams and forums have a ton of info .. just can be hard to find specific things. but car is coming along nicely!
Hey Brother, thanks for the heads up. Not that I needed it, but there are those out there on most of the installs vids and theyare like huh? Didn't drop that much!?!??! and they never take into consideration settle in/break in time, and then they are all confused as to WTF!?!?!? Good job giving all the knucklebusters out there a heads up!
Great video I just did my charger rt a couple of weeks ago with the same springs, so far it's been riding fine but I know from years of experience that once you lower a car you throw all the alignment off, I dealt with the same thing when I changed the entire front suspension on my Shelby gt500 too, even with the camber bolts I still had to install camber plates to get the alignment right, I'll wait awhile and let my charger rt settle then I'll get new wheels and tires and everything else I need for a good alignment, I guess that's the price we pay for our expensive habit.
For those of you who didn't get what he was saying...........you see a lot of those young boys riding their ricers with the wheels canted all the way in, that's camber(coil over with adjustable camber, most times). I like how you shared the wealth (most think money) on this. It is just good general knowledge for me I wasn't looking to do this but I am sure someone is. Lowering is more than the cost of the new springs!!!!
Fact's, I hope this helps someone lol
So should u just go with the pro kit? Instead of just the lowering springs?
Had these springs on the shelf for a year havent wanted to deal with the alignment issues like you yet
Lmao pull all 4 of them O!!!!
I had tire letters on my camaro. They nice i just don't want to deal with that upkeep again. Continuously glueing and cleaning
Man I feel you on that, the upkeep is a lot but I gotta have that look back lol
FYI SPC makes front adjustable control arms a lot of people are using them for there lowered challengers they might be cheaper
If I get the pro kit springs do I need them?
Thanks for the advice men, I'll take care of it when the car is lowered.
Hey man car looks awesome. Where’d you got those rear diffuser from?
Same here had the sport lines for a year now & started getting negative camber. Trying to fix that for sure .
Yeah man, annoying problem to have
Great vid, very informative... I’ve been thinking about adding lower springs to my RT for awhile now..
The mopar stage 1 springs are 👌🏾
Glad I could help, Yeah man knock it all out at once if you can and save some money
@@JRTProductions how much fa the installment
@@HemivsNinja do you need to change anything out using Mopar springs
@@1323rodriguez no I didn’t change anything else since it’s an OEM product just plug and play. You may want to get an alignment tho
Thanks u just saved me some big hassles
Thank you brotha, you're a God send.
Moral of the story, keep it factory,so you won't have problems
Whats better lowering spring or coilover for challenger
Damn so I’ve been told break in settlement is about 500 miles or a week. How long did it take yours to settle like that? Looks to of settled almost an inch from when they were first put on
I won't be lowering now. shouldn't have to replace a whole bunch of stuff or have problems forever. just lower it and inch or two.
Great info, enjoy watching your vids. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I appreciate that! Gotta keep my people up on game
Lol you’re just like me $500 maximum on tires for me. And ordinarily if you do lowering springs you should do an alignment after. I got the stage 1 lowering springs from mopar didn’t get an alignment initially, then got one later on.
Tires can be expensive, ain't got time for that
No sir... you should have done the Eibach Pro Kit.
Is it better or the same thing? With pro kit vs sportline
I have an SRT 392 with the Pro Line lowering springs no problems at all may be because the SRT has the the electronic suspension... but my ride and alignment is perfect.... great video footage!
Thanks! Yeah it's a love/hate relationship with these springs
Do you think the Eibach pro kit would have been better ?
It’s hard to say but it’s a lot to go through for the look.
Coil overs!
Banger 💪🏼‼️🔥
Preciate that brodie!
Preciated brah! #MoparNocar💪🏽
I bought the springs, now I’m second guessing putting them on lol
Did you put them on bc I’m having second thoughts also.
Video definitely help me out
Yes sir, glad I could help. Big boy mods like yours are coming soon bro lol
Damn you can't drive... you got curb rash on your wheels. Tighten up bro!!!!
dont use lowering springs. it screws everything up. save up for a full kit or coilovers. also dont use floor jacks like the thumbnail. use jack stands. be safe
What he said, facts lol
