Straight to the point !! No long dramatic intro ,
Not a fan of intros either 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork Me either. Stupid.
This is a great video! Hopefully soon there will be some coilovers available that work with the adaptive settings
Thanks! KW variant has adjustable springs for the car if you are interested 👍🏾
I installed the Eibach Sportline springs in my Mustang. Along with the BBK rear control arms and pinion snubber the car rides great and handles magnificently.
Nice thanks for sharing! Did you need the arms for alignment?
My 2021 widebody scat in hellrasin is being lowered now, got wheel spacers. Also had my rims powder coated matte bronze like the farrada wheels. Super stoked to get it out the shop next week. Gonna be perfection. Thanks for your video because the spacers will def help fill out the gap. Also that drop should settle and equal to 1.1 ish in front and 1.4 ish in rear.
What size spacers did you get? Do you have the “standard” wheels or the upgraded optional wheels? I have the upgraded wheels and there is no cavity next to the lug holes for spacer bolts to go into, it will only work if I use a 30mm or larger spacer. I think that will be way to big and the wheels will run on the fenders
Lower everything 💪🏽😂 appreciate the shoutout bro 😎
No problem bro! Your video was the one we referenced 👍🏾
She'll definitely handling alot better. I always say having a fast car is pointless if it can't handle some turns 💯💯💯
Looks good and now you can take some corners faster after the springs settle
Thanks bro! It’s gotten a little lower overall 👍🏾
Thanks! I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my Challenger Redeye... Great channel #subscribed
Thanks for the comment/sub! If you want a stiffer suspension, go with the H&R 👍🏾
Since the drop have you had any issues with the launch or ride or anything? I am about to drop my redeye jailbreak...
Looks dope.
Nice video man!
Thanks 👍🏾
That color is fresh
Nice Hellcat and vid champ!! Are you and Elu or Erodz still there at Tate? I stumbled across this vid while searching for info on eibach. I have a Ram that I want leveled and would like to know what he’ll charge to do it. Thanks and again great vid!
He just leveled my RAM a few months ago lol! He is still there, just call service and ask for him 👍🏾
Nice video overview on those springs. That widebody is sittin perfect. 👍
Hesitating on the H&Rs because I've heard they get too low and cause other issues with the ride and alignment.
That said... with the Pro Kits any sign of uneven tread wear so far on the inside front tires due to alignment? I always wondered whether camber/caster plates are necessary on Chargers to get that front end alignment right.
Thanks bro! I am planning to do a alignment video but can’t give a date yet. Mine wasn’t too far out of spec though and no uneven tire wear yet. Let’s be honest, these tires only last 10k miles or less anyways lol 👍🏾
Not sure about the chargers but the pro kit on my Challenger sits pretty damn low. With a front wind splitter it's about 4" off the ground at the front to the splitter. My car does have a little more rake then I prefer with the bigger tires on the rear. As far as camber goes I've noticed my tires wearing on the inside and not evenly on all 4 corners. Gona buy new tires soon and get a alignment. Oh yeah and definitely DO NOT run with the factory struts ! Day and night difference with the orange Koni's !
@@JB_WhoWork what size spacers did you go with?
10mm
Just installed the eibach pros on my 21 charger! Unfortunely I noticed they sent me the 004 kit for challenegers. Already have it installed without problems but hope there's not going to be issues down the road
The 004 sit lower in the back
dope !! They’ll it’ll probably drop more over time
Thanks, it really has 👍🏾
Watched the whole video and still haven’t figure out what the biggest issue was
People buying the wrong springs
what was the labor time on the rear?
I was told same price ($730-780) how much u spent on install?
Clean
how is it on the bumpers is it stiffer or the same
Just did my challenger I also added front adjustable control arms mad rear adjustable cam bushings to get the alignment perfect
What kind did you use? The ones I saw were like $700 for just the rear...
JB Reviews eibach PRO-ALIGNMENT Camber Arm Kit
$412
Not bad, thanks for sharing
can you please tell me where is this place located because I need to go back up on Springs I’m already too low
Where you buy the springs from? Link please
In others words, I have friends that lowered their chargers and now they’re are haven’t clearance issues
I saw another utuber that put 004’s on his charger scat pack and it looked awesome. Our chargers don’t need lowered much up front it’s in the back where it’s needed more . I may get what u called the challenger springs “004” and try them they’re .7 front and 1.3 rear. Any thoughts?
I agree, the rear is what I really wanted lowered. I’ve heard from the charger forums the ride is harsh with the Challenger springs so just do some research. I did hear that Eibach is going to be releasing some springs specifically for the widebody so be on the lookout
Who’s the other you tuber I need lowering on my scat widebody.please and thank you bro
No proverbs at all with my Eibach Pro kit springs. Been running these on several widebodys over the years.
You are not getting a 2.7 0-60. The tires where spinning 60 mph, but the car was not going 60. Mine registered a 1.9 before, but obviously that was wrong.
Looks real good but I can't wait for the driving impressions! Hellcat wide-n-low body!
Lol thanks brother! I have footage but may redo it due to some technical difficulties 👍🏾
Was that last shot with the spacers on all 4 wheels?
Spacers were only in rear
Looks good! What’s the mechanic guy information? Need mines done too.
He’s at Tate Frederick and his name is Eliu 👍🏾
I must have missed something, what was the"Biggest Issue"?
Using drop springs will ruin the stock suspension I hate the car ride I will be putting the stock oem springs back my honest true opinion I stay in houston tx the roads are not it for my dropped hellcat
Eibach Pro Kit Springs E10-27-008-02-22. Front .07 & Rear .90
I just had these installed and when I drive over small bumps and road grooves I am getting a knocking sound. Did you have this issue at all?
you probably didn't preload the suspension prior to torquing every bolt to spec. this must be done or you'll get all kinds of noises
Check your swaybar end link bolts. If they are even slightly loose they will clunk/knock.
Bro like the color of your calipers, did you paint it by yourself?
Nope you can option it from the factory with them! I did a special order and they have standard red, black gunmetal, and orange 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork planning to lower mine as well but kinda confused about H&R and now made my decision bcoz of you thanks bro Eibach here i come.
You won’t be disappointed, just get the part# in the video and get ready for the low life
@@JB_WhoWork i had noticed a nut 🔩 which is in the front fender liner, did you adjust it so the tire wont hit the nut. Thnks
No we had to unplug the active suspension 👍🏾
Those look like Eibach Sportline springs. Pro Springs are gray
you can get black or red pro kits for our cars
Would adding the spacers all around be a bad idea?
Spacers are known to cause premature wear on bearings. Keep that in mind.
Do you know what how much was the drop after it settled down?
I can’t remember but it may have dropped maybe a quarter inch after we measured
Your paint ist different when You compare the front fascia to the hood and the fender
That’s pretty normal on plastic compared to metal. That’s typically why I always buy white cars because you can’t really tell a difference
Where’s is this shop located or my man that did the install
Tate Frederick MD
By lowering the the car you lost that rear down force buddy. Looks cool though. Thanks for the video JB.
True but it allows less air under the car which should help drag too! I could add a huge spoiler onto regain 😜! Thanks brother 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork Less drag is good but getting that spoiler up will for sure help to keep the back of car from getting lose and keep the rear tires planted. Anytime you change 1 thing you end giving up something else.
Richard West Very true! Every modification will effect something
@@JB_WhoWork I can see the need to lower the widebody challengers because they sit high in the rear but the widebody chargers sit pretty nice from the factory. I've had alot of people telling me not to lower because car looks good already. I did change the tires from 305's to 315's all the way around and that definitely makes a difference.
@@ricwestdoesitwork👍🏾
Nice vid! How much for the installation and place to do it. I live in Virginia
Thanks, i paid $250 but it was a side job.
@@JB_WhoWork can I get his details
If you call Tate in Frederick you can ask to speak to him 👍🏾
Thanks much JB
As you drive it will get a lil lower has to settle
💯! When I saw it the next day, the back settled a little more
What brand are the shocks?
Eibach Pro Kit
Hey man what is the part number for the springs?
It’s at the beginning of the video, can’t remember off the top of my head
E10-27-008-02-22
Any issues after the installation?
None, worked great for the time I owned it 👍🏾
How much did the dealer charge?
I do work here so I got it done under the table
Good video but I have to pause and ask what every guy should be wondering.. WHY DISCONNECT BATTERY TO WORK ON SUSPENSION PARTS...
The car has active suspension
You about to burn up your fuel pump running the fuel that low speaking from experience
That wheel gab is there for a reason but, monkey see monkey do
Not always. For the sake of what this video talks about it could be that the stock setup is for a purpose but generally speaking more often than not aftermarket setup and parts do enhance and cover that extra mile.
This really helped my decision, didn’t want to slam my car, this is my next mod. Just subbed, also check out my channel
Thanks bro!
Lame just GAY
Nice rake! Cut a coil off the back And make it right
