If you wanna try this run, I recommend you to get "Pest Threads" incantation from Gowry (the man in the cabin next to Sellia Town in Caelid). You need to advance a bit in Millicent quest to get it but it's definetely worth the hassle. I think it's the best incantation to deal with big bosses like dragons and the fire giant's first phase.
And elden beast. Also black flame melts main bosses. I have a pure incantation character and it's my favorite play style. Flashy moves with heavy impact.

You really should've used Flame of the Fell God and Burn, O Flame! from the Fire Giant's Remembrance since Malenia has 0 resistance to fire and she also can't dodge these 2 incantations and usually just runs into them. This would've made your life a lot easier but I'm not surprised that you like doing things the hard way. (You can see this strategy in Baron's Castle "Can You Beat Elden Ring as the Burger King?" video). P.S. The Pest Threads incantation would've been great against the Elden Beast and Placidusax since they are so big and since the Pest Threads also deal physical damage.

pure incantations was my favorite playthrough. only faith, vigor and mind; no other stats until the goldmask quest (respec 37 int for regression later and other golden order incants), no sorcery and no melee weapons. there are so many cool and diverse incantations. pure sorcery was a close second.
As a liberal practitioner of incantations and Rotten Breath myself, I don't recall ever seeing Rykards sky of skulls attack. But I wasn't crazy enough to never swing a stick at an enemy either.
I halfway expected you to use the poison mist exploit for Draconic Tree Sentinel since it was fully allowed in the run as far the rules are concerned; good video :3

I did chuckle at the Margit fight. I found catch flame to trivialize that fight personally. Spammable and decently strong for it's FP cost. For Godrick I poisoned him with the poison mist to assist with damage.
I had so much problems with an incantation run only, i was like "ok i did this before and this Is my third run on ER, i souldnt have too many problems" but i guess ER said "no you are gonna suffer" 😂

That faster cast icon actually only works on spells that have consecutive followup cast animations. Which is basically no incantations. It was basically a dead slot for you. Stupid game design is stupid.
no, it just gives you 30 virtual dex. Dex scales your cast speed for every spell. however spell animaitons are split into different parts and only the second part can be scaled
You should have used more of the black blade incantation it takes away 10% of the bosses health and also does black flame damage and a ton of normal damage
Without watching im gonna say yes as long as you have a lot of mp. Incantations are extremely varied and many if them are even effective against magic resistants like Rennala.
I like to thing it isn’t a question of is it possible but can YOU do it because if the best player in the world did it they would 100% be able to complete all these runs but we are just skilled so we see if it’s possible

Nah man, just use Ancient Dragons' Lightning Strike. The bigger the boss, the more dmg it will take. Just onehittet firegiant and elden beast with it.

Black flame is great. For enemies that dodge, try an incantation that hits an area around you instead. They will dodge but still get hit.
