- Could an Elden Ring build that only levels one stat truly be good? Of course it can! You just gotta have faith, and lots of it! Check out this holy build using the Radiant Gold Mask, Maliketh's Black Blade, the Black Knife, and the Erdtree Seal to spread the good word to all in the Lands Between!

I have faith that this build will do well
I've been waiting For this one i Had faith it would come someday
Excellent joke there which is very relatible.
Welp after this video there is no faith
I hope you get lupis
@@jankydankstankalank7806bruh what
“Why didn’t you start astrologer”
Up next, how about a Navy Seal run? The only weapons and items you can use have "seal" in the name - Marika's Scarseal, the Finger Seal, etc. - and the only armor you get is the Navy Hood.
Maybe also the wooden club, to slip in a clubbing seals joke
@@Hermaniac8 well, there is the giant anchor weapon too...xD

Radahn: "five guys destroying my guts rn"
Tulok: "six when i get there"
Radahn: "what"
ngl I was hoping for more secret starting classes videos. I think those have been the most fun so far. Bernahl, Bloodhound Knight and Cleanrot Knight builds were been fun af.
Hes gonna continue
Weren't there actual alternative starting classes in the network test?!
@@MattJDylanyea the bloodwolf guy

Can't wait to watch the arcane only run! These runs have been hysterical, I'll miss the single stat runs
Hoping to see the Ripple Blade getting GREASY for part of the Arcane run.
He still has to do endurance only, so here's hoping
You know it’s a good day when Tulok and Mango drops a new video
Onm (on marika)
“Im sure theres a religion that advocates for vengeance, i just havent heard of it yet”
*Oath of Vengeance Paladin has joined the chat*
There is nemesis the goddess of vengeance and equality (basically)
Bad dragon should sponsor you for how much you reference it
Hey something good to know, but following Yura's questline will give you the "Raptor of the mist" ash of war.
Putting this on a dagger (or any other weapon) and casting it before a horse carriage in the hero's grave hit's you, will allow you to phase trough the carraige and therefore they become basically harmless.
Thats really awesome. I've used it ever since I saw it in the Sephiroth Video :)
Before you manage to do that, Endure will make the chariot do less damage as well, and just roll through you and you just stand there not getting knocked down. Raptor of the Mists is probably better, but Endure is a slightly earlier option.
"Basically harmless" - except, you still have to time the use of Raptor perfectly...
@@GreatZarquonnot hard to do though lol.
Other methods include using endure to live through the strikes, or vow of indomitable to parry them.
Or just level vigor and endurance enough-turns out they’re not a true one-shot, they just hit really hard
One of the best parts of the footage for these videos is reading your lips and determining the exact words you use with a big reaction.
In one run he said "Fisting... underground workers!" and it broke me XD
I was waiting for this since the first mono-stat run
Wait no longer!
Love it! Tips for arcane: occult is better than bleed for weapons with innate bleed. Ripple blade, moghs spear, and rivers of blood are some great options.
RoB requires 12 strength and 18 dex. Tulok starts all these runs as wretch. To use RoB at wretch starting stats (excepting arcane because arcane only run), you'd need radagon's scarseal and prosthesis wearer's heirloom, which takes up valuable talisman slots that could better be used for other things.
That “so jot that down” sunny reference is my favorite to find In the wild
only you have the power to narrate elden ring game play and make it this funny the refrences and jokes you make in your videos are god tier keep up the good work
I've got a challenge idea its a carnivore/meat based run
you use weapons with meat and or flesh on them
you can only buff using the strips of flesh and meat
anything else you want to add
Oh cool, like ringed finger and celebrant skull
4:30 faith and greed go hand in hand, just ask the t-evangelists with their 13 private jets.
The midsommar leap of faith joke was pretty dark...and i love it!!
congrats on 50K subs love the videos
youtube put you in my recommended videos and thats the first time listening to algorithm has been worth it. immediate subscribe, i'll be watching all of your videos and you better believe it i'm going to stay here. your witty commentary deserves recognition and applause!
The Arcane Seal will let you do your Catch Flame strats when you do that run
Discus is an excellent spell, it was one of my staple spells on my recent hybrid caster with an Intelligence focus (60 Int, 24/25 Faith), I focused on Sorceries, however Discus and Blessing's Boon were staple when combined with the Golden Order Seal. It was never my main damage spell, however it comboed pretty well with the Sorceries I ran (think Ancient Death Rancor, Rykard's Rancor, Phalanx spells). I ended up replacing it, however it's replacement was Triple Rings of Light, aka the upgraded version of the spell. That rebound effect is something that you shouldn't ever underestimate, it can easily be the killing blow on an enemy charging at you.
Yes it doesn't hit as hard as some spells, but for it's FP cost (an insanely low 3 FP), it's cast speed and how much damage it can do, it's one of the best spells in the game, or at least it would be if Holy Damage wasn't horrible in the endgame.
Your faith in the pillars wasn't high enough 6:11
The only Elden Ring CZcamsr I still enjoy. Keep up the great work
Greedy and Holy Wars in the same video? My 2 favorite songs by them. Love you Tulok & Mango.
I just started my own faith (+dex) build after a year of Int build and I am having more fun in the opening hours than ever before.
I have become a believer in Faith.
Man that bonk to finish Hoarah Loux was so hilarious and satisfying 😂
Loved this one. Chay had so much Faith in the power of lightning.
Super Metroid and Megadeth’s “Holy Wars” music on an Elden Ring Video? You earned a sub my friend. Hilarious commentary too 😂
My toddler dances to every song you put on for the scene transitions.
I am faithful that you will do a faith run, and here we are
This was a pretty neat build! I was doing a (mostly) faith run a while back but never finished it, surprised you never ended up using the Cipher Pata for melee but that is a bit out of the way.
Admittedly, the Cipher Pata probably wouldn’t work great once you hit the capital. Insane holy resistance and getting one-shot by most attacks would mean that a holy damage melee option wouldn’t work great. But it would have been fun to see for the earlier game when he can still take a hit
Yeah, I was sad about it too. Really figured he would’ve, And I really like the two of them, So the fact that he didn’t even grab ONE was just disappointing.
The holy wars transition was goated, megadeth for life
You need to have faith in this build to win 😏
why did you start as an astrologer in a faith run
Blackflame, death beams, and ancient dragon spells, all made by the erdtree's enemies... Guess they really were made for the job
that mac clip god damn i wasnt expecting it lmao
I was wondering when the next one of these videos would drop
Loving the Sunny references!
If you run in a circle with the nobles roll out attack at the right time and keep a good angle on the turn you can essentially out run his roll. Made the fight so much easier for me.
Shocked you didn't go for the faith fist weapon. I don't remember it's name, but it would have helped you a lot with some of these bosses
"Amazing grace, how sweet the site, that saved a Wretch like me... I once was lost, but now am found, was dead, but now I breathe."
FINALLY someone addresses the "Intelligence is only good for magic damage" weirdness. One thing you forgot though: Incantations ALSO have magic damage, courtesy of the glintstone breath dragon incantations.
I am 28 seconds in the video and I already know this will be a very painful run...
Great video as always. Bonus points if you use my baby, Elenora´s Poleblade, with the arcane-only run. I got a feeling you´ll like the AoW +grins+
Also, dragon incants, because holy hell they are powerful. Weightless seal, they even get the bonus from roar talisman nowadays - they are even more nightmare-fuel than ever XD
And all pairs with every bleed/occult weapon you could ever want. Many great options. Bleed, Magic, Fire, Rot, a big debuff, you can have lots of fun with arcane !
I wanna see a Banished knight secret starting class, technically you could get the full build in storm veil and farm for the unaltered in castle sol later
15:40 I love how he's still using the tear which he called garbage at the beginning of the run
im actually surprised i missed this one on stream until after i hopped into the run after this. guess my faith didnt hold firm enough to get me in
You just made me a faithful follower.
1:32 The midsommar clip was so fitting.
Laughed out loud at the family friendly Midsommar clip.
I believe in a thing called faith.
JUST LISTEN TO THE RHYTHM OF MY SPELLS.
"Are you there Margit, it's me, God" was a great little joke snuck in there
4:40 There is a religion that advocates vengeance, it is called Asatru! At least, according to Crusader Kings 3...
If possible can you include the equipment loadout of these builds in the video description? Idealy at elden beast time or after you get the "starting" setup
Based on the video, he was at 10 across the board with 99 Faith. He wore the Radiant Gold Mask, Gravewarden Cloak, Lionel's Greaves, and Lionel's Gauntlets. He had Godslayer's Seal and Gravel Stone Seal for LA1 and LA2, with Erdtree Seal and Black Knight for RA1 and RA2. Spells were obviously Black Flame, Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike, Lord's Divine Fortification, and Black Blade. He also obviously used Godrick's Great Rune.
As for talismans, it looks like he's using either Fire Scorpion Charm or Lightning Scorpion Charm, or hotswapping them during phase transition. He's also using Radagon Icon, Ritual Sword Talisman, and Ritual Shield Talisman. He's also running 7 Blue Flasks and at least 3 at most 7 Red Flasks, but probably not that takes a lot of Golden Seeds. He probably stopped at +4 since they were fully restoring HP and FP at that point and there was no need to go out of his way for stronger flasks. Without the Great Rune, he only needed +2 for red flasks to full heal and +0 for blue flasks to restore, and with the great rune he needed +4.
He also had various other items and gear along the way, like Golden Order Seal and Holy Scorpion Charm when he was using Discus of Light; Catch Flame and Flame Sling early on, Lightning Spear, Albinauric Mask for some reason. For his Wondrous Physick he was likely switching between Flame-Shrouded, Lightning-Shrouded, and Holy-Shrouded Cracked Tear, and what I think is Opaline Hardtear for damage negation. He also had Radagon's Soreseal, but I don't think he ever used it.
I figured Faith was gonna be at least decent; damage variety, good scaling for most of the spells, and a VERY good way to mitigate Elden Stars. Arcane, though? That's probably gonna be rough; can't wait to see what you use for that build!
Faith is pretty damn good though. Theres alot of weapons that are top teir and primarily scale with faith. If you want the most fun beat the game and use the sword you get in ng+. I love that thing. Or dual magmas. Even the coded blades can hit pretty hard
The dragon breaths go pretty hard against the entire game. Dragon Maw also gives you poise break options for the big bois.
NEW TULOK VIDEO 😍😍😍😍
I appreciate that Judy Blume title joke.
You should do a Hank Hill option, only "propane" and "propane accessories"
looking forward to the arcane one
I love your videos 💯
"a bad dragon is good but theres no substitute for real wood" 🤔
Would love to see you do a witcher build!
I swear, one of these days Tulok will use Burn, O Flame!
Next time for sure, right?
Hey you could use the fortification spells to get broken levels of damage resistance
I think funny enough I joined in on stream around when you were being stabbed by the black assassin
Her parents said no, but I subscribed and they changed their minds
Don't forget that faith can use a whole lot more options. I believe faith can proc every single status effect in the game aside from frostbite (although maybe I just missed the option for that). Magic is pretty much limited to magic damage and frostbite for the most part. Rotten breath makes Astel approachable early, poison mist makes for a great cheese on the Fallingstar beast. And being able to keep the same build and just switch spells around using the same upgraded seal, armor, and talismans is probably the most powerful bonus of all.
Ice lightning
I love your music taste
Lol the Midsommar clip was great. Hopefully that lil dude was in his 70s ):
Allegedly Thops’ barrier counters Elden stars
the name of this channel always makes me think of darmok and jalad
The Egyptians believed in an eye for an eye so that is a form of vengeance
didnt realize just how good lightning spear is
Godly ending to the end of the Godfrey fight!
Nice reference to Gorsich of the Golden Order.
It's so weird seeing the rage in Gelmir Hero's grave because I never even remember that path exists. You can, instead, on the first opening, drop onto the rafters and get into the room with the bloodhound knight from the window. Bonus: You enter through the ledge high up, so you can just cheese them from there too
Also a bit surprised you didn't go for Gold Scarab when you weren't using Golden Order incants, that's a quick grab back in Limgrave, I'd expect the extra casts to be pretty helpful and the damage penalty to be irrelevant later on
My favorite attribute!
Ah you are holy today
I have faith that the algorithm will pick this video up and you'll get 500,000 views 🙏
Lmao the midsummer cut.
Idk if it's just me but whenever fatty goes for the role I strafe him by rolling forward and to the right a little, and then run in circles, kinda following him
Lol in the Gelmir Heroes Grave you need to find the right angle. It's easy if you approach it correctly and roll at it 😅
I love the ds2 boss reference
Do a endurance only build
(Bull Goat armor + dragon crest great shield talisman, and probably samurai starting class for str + dex for katana)
came for the elden ring stayed for funny joke
I like to think myself quite faithful, have evidence in the other channel to prove it, but this is certainly one filled with even more hopium than me!
Beautiful Supreme Plug about balance! ❤
This makes me want to play a Paladin/Templar type character in Elden ring now.
Very nice, now let’s see Paul Allen’s incantation build
nice timing, must be fated
Would have Godfrey icon also done good here since the lighting bolt is a charged ability?
oh my god, raya's room is like bridget, it has a town inside it
I have a strong belief that is based on internal spiritual feelings that this build will make the swag jump first try. If only there was like a single word I could use to express my intense belief.
13:58 based king
You should do a Run lockzone! u cant leave limgrave until kill all bosses, etc in each region. (except if need some item from another zone to kill it). xD great work i enjoy your content
In my playthrough my first 15-20 levels where all into faith
Your going have to pray hard and have faith that god can hear you to complete this run, but that would take a miracle.
