is it safe to use it straight on your monofilament mainline or do you still need a fluro leader of some kind?

Ive not done much choddy style fishing which is why im getting some tips but i think there is a flaw with the dropping the lead. Although i get the idea and concept i just think once that lead has dropped and playing a fish and you did happen to get a line break you now have no weight to pull the rig from the leader or line…?

... is not necessary for you to talk to the fish in your hands, I believe you catch the beauty, is better for the fish to , otherwise some group with believe that the catch and release is animal cruelty and bye-bye fishing .
