I'd sing and dance about a bait if someone paid me to use it. You have to take away the hype and see what's left over, mostly that even baits like sweetcorn are as good as anything.

Loving the Alt-J tunes under this. Also amazing because part’s pretty much filmed around the corner of my house. The spot at 15:00 mins, you fished there for FOUR nights without catching anyhing? I’ve recently started carp fishing again and as this spot is only a couple hundred meters from my place, it’s where i started. But only caught bream so far. If the 4 night story is true, i’ll move my attention to elsewhere, probably closer to the Amstel river.

The fishing world is already saturated with so called "influencer fishermen" or "full time fisherman" and thats coming from an Aussie from a country of 26 million or so and there's many dudes making fishing clips, with all degrees of success. They mix it up a bit as well, like a Western Australian fell named Gido and he climbs remote huge cliff faces (real mountain climbing stuff) and catches all sorts of big fish, he also Hobie kayaks out to remote places, then there's Sammy Hitzche or Rockit Rod and the Kayak fisho or Brigsy sport fishing, these are all great channels with various amounts of subs. What I'm getting at is you gotta be real good to make any sort of a dent in the fishing game

I'd like to know if he's been to Australia chasing carp.. Over here they've bred to astronomical numbers and it's illegal to throw carp back in. Back in the late 60s/70s my father and his mates would go hunting and pig shooting was the best because we'd camp along the Parroo channel. In summer the river was low and chockers with carp, a mate of the old mans had a old black powder Navy Colt handgun and as you reeled in the carp they'd shoot at it with the Colt. Some of these carp were stonkers, I don't know weight but I reckon easily a yard long.

There is loads of carp in the canals and big ones too in Amsterdam and all its waterways leading in and out of the city, and most spots are not hard fished or not fished at all. Its just an overkill off possiblities, so do love to see that beautifulll mirror carp turning up and for open water that is giant! The Seine in Paris next time??
