      I had a latch key child and I worried so much I would sneak her in the office at my job if boss would be gone.
      She was brave always and we had family neighbors that happen to be her God mother.
      I worked more nights than days as a bartender and never collected benefits only in hard times.
      We made it work with many people I trusted.

      This is how This Lady I know- her house got robbed. Someone knew that the cameras at the back were covered with the canopy and nobody will be at home. Unfortunately the gold money were taken. Could be the neighbour- it was not wise to leave the gold and money and Jewellery in the house at all especially durring large lavish wedding events UNLESS you have armed trusted security Guards. Person could be the neighbour coming from the back- who knows. TRUST YOUR INSTINCS PLEASE they are from our Guardians. If u have a safe then use it/ take things out whatever inside you feel YOU should do with your stuff. 1 time someone I know she took her own jewellery and both of her daughter's jewellery out and into her mothers house NIGHT BEFORE because her INSTINCS told her. Next afternoon there was a robbery- unfortunately sometimes can be your own jealous greedy relatives. Sometimes it's WISE not to tell people what time you will be where incase some of has a copy of your key ( someone I know has a gambling problem and he may have key to my old front door- keys can be copied aswell. Better install hidden phone camera to check if someone coming into your home while you are out.

    • @curiousone6129
      @curiousone6129 Před 7 měsíci +6

      I've recently realized that the judges giving short sentences and/or early parole doesn't necessarily mean the judges are careless. Often it is due to politics.
      There is limited prison space and it's difficult to get funding for more prisons. Also by doing so, it indicates that crime is more prevalent than they want the public to know. It makes the Governor look bad as well as law enforcement and prosecutors.
      So sick that people's lives are subject to such lame reasons.

Hormonally his development was on par with any 20yr old male, included the sexual apetites of such. Since puberty he probably looked at ANY female with these thoughts and with his limited mental capacity, he might have been unable to adjust his behaviour appropriately. Throw in some weed and an unattended, vulnerable female (to whom he had easy access), and you have the perfect storm.
      This appears to be the objective data. And no excuses for him; i believe he was most certainly culpable. - But to speculate that it was premeditated or that he was shutting her up due to some knowledge she might have had - yeah that's a stretch.

    That beast Victor Steeles is yet another example of why sex offenders should never be able to leave prison or get the death penalty after the first offence. They always seem to leave prison and commit the same crimes, but leave a little smarter not to do things the same way as they did the last time. Another life ruined emotionally because they allowed a convict to be free once more. I do have sympathy for those falsely accused, but if there is no doubt that a person committed a crime I also have no problem with the death penalty to rid the world of these monsters.

    The first case.. its heartbreaking in a multitude of ways. But I can't sympathize with the mother when she began to lie and switch her story, same with the grandmother, in order to protect the brother. I can understand how upsetting and just mind blowing it would be to even fathom your brother would molest and murder your child. I even understand being in denial for a period of time because of the trauma of it all. But to LIE to police to ruin the case they were building... thats insane. You could be in denial but to actively try to cover up facts with lies is unacceptable. Like the museum being right by where the body was. Or the grandmother making up a nose bleed because the poor girls blood was in the vehicle....... this young girl died scared and in pain.. betrayed by her own family member. And to have her mother disrespect her memory by advocating for her murderer and refusing to believe the facts ... is just an extra layer of sadness. I can bet the husband, the child's father, left her after this. I mean how could you stay? When your wife is lying for her brother, who killed and violated your baby girl?

But Wendy refused to believe that he brother did it. She was acting really weird like she was not expressing the grief that the rest of us thought would have been normal. It was like she was in a different reality than the rest of us. She was more focused on trying to make everyone believe that her bother was innocent instead of dealing with her daughter's death and her brother as her murderer. But the rest of us at the restaurant decided that we couldn't say how it would effect us. I don't know how I would deal with reality if my brother killed my daughter. Last story of Anita is da bomb. Don't want to spoil it for anyone. But wow, what a legend. That episode was like it was directed by Hitchcock with the suspense and written by Tarantino with the way they jumped around with time and returning back to Anita on that phone call at her house and then cutting back to it from another different point of view. And SPOILER: the rare true crime that has no death. Now, to quote Pulp Fiction: excuse me, I'm gonna go home and have a heart attack...

    The first one was so strange 😬 she lies for her brother, barely cries the whole episode except a few tears, she doesn’t believe her brother did it even after he’s found guilty and on top of that she smashes up the last things she has of her baby 🤯

      He was smart enough to know she would tell and he'd get in trouble. I understand she didn't want to believe it, but to actually lie shocks me, I love my brothers, but it's my daughter I'd die to protect and it's like her daughters life wasn't worth as much as her brother's. I'll bet he had a history that wasn't uncovered, they've probably covered for him before, he didn't just start this behavior.

    One thing that irks me about these programs like FBI files, forensic files, new detectives is that in many cases evidence is gleaned from security cameras at Walmarts, convenience stores etc. and I have never, not once, witnessed any official thank those private companies for their time and resources.

      I also can't believe the second case, where the woman opened the door and allowed that pervert into the house, knowing that he was very troubled and had his membership at the health club terminated, and that she was alone in the house. Let's hope she learned better safety tactics afterwards. She knowingly put herself in great danger, by being naive and overly trusting. You cannot act like that; it's hard if you are brought up to be a good, nice person, but that makes you a target and puts you in great danger throughout your life.
