Season 7 Episode 8
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.
These documentaries are far better than the fictions we watch from Hollywood.
Hard to imagine these sort of things actually happen
And waaaaaaayyyy better actors
I always say it. no bad acting involved 😁😁👍

The fact that they were just like "nah no need for protective gear, if it detonates we gonna die anyway" but they still went ahead and tried to study it, to me that's wild.

Detective: we were bombarded with calls

That episode was so good that I didn't want it to end, I was totally glued to the events.😄
Could have been better... Could have been glued to the walls
I’ve been watching this show for days and this is definitely one of the best episodes
@@MashaRistova I think I'll watch this one again. Thanks for reminding me about this excellent episode.
I was surprisingly stunned that that plan to explode the bomb failed and destroyed the casino,
that tight azzz mother f*cker put $5K and shredded paper in his ransom bag,
I legit didnt know who to root for,
The men who worked on the bomb crew are the real heroes! Their work goes unappreciated. They literally throw themselves in actual danger to protect us.
That's so True...
Reality is, I would do any job that gave me an opportunity to make good money and support my family.. just because it’s dangerous, it doesn’t always mean they’re doing it to protect us. Family first money second and you are like last on that person’s list.
Its called thier job either he goes to check out the bomb or he's fired lol and they hire the next looneys probably swearing under breath the whole time how he's to old for this shit

This is the most intriguing episode about a bomb yet. The case, design, size and abnormality of the bomb is cryptic.

The owner only gave 5K to keep his casino from being blown up 😆.
Right? Though since the FBI decided it was intelligent to blow up a bomb with yet another bomb (idiots), I guess the owner knew he was screwed anyway. Probably figured he'd collect the insurance on it and build that abomination all over again.
He had great insurance, and didn't care
The damage was $3 million covered by insurance. If he gave $3 million of his own money, why would that make sense? No one was hurt… Mission accomplished

That wasn't that odd, but it was odd that he didn't seem to want to catch the bomber, at least from what is reported in this episode.

Say what you want about law enforcement, those are some brave people.
Ihojiijij only just uih
Yes, some are brave and some are cowards. This show is to try to show us the good side of law enforcement the cases they solved. But there are plenty of lazy and coward cops. Like the cops where I live many of them drive out to a back roads and sleep, 1 was caught having sex with a teenager he received probation and the idiot politicians pay him to be a liaison between the politicians and the hassidic jewish community . Or the cops that let an ex- judge go home after he hit 3 teens walking on the side of the road, 2 of them are dead and the judge didn't even serve 5 minutes in jail.
FBI is not what it used to be. Today, they are the enforcers of this evil system which wants us bankrupt, dead, our children brainwashed.

For those wondering why the money drop didn't take place, the pilot misinterpreted the directions. "His instructions were to follow highway 50 for
15 miles. What the instructions had
actually said was to follow highway
50 for 15 miles in a straight line. He
had followed the winding highway 50
and was short by a few miles where
John Birges was waiting."
John Birges died of liver cancer in
prison 1996, Harvey Gross died in
1983 at the age of 78, a year after the
reconstruction of his hotel/casino

I love it when I come across episodes that sound like a plot from a Die Hard movie but actually happened in real life.
this is amazing
I admire z woman who wrote the license plate while they were fixing the van at 4:00 am
She led them right to the bomber in a message left the day after the bomb was found yet they didn't listen to it for another month. Hope she got the reward, but somehow I doubt it. Would make the FBI look bad that they had the van and the bomber and walked away. Didn't even check the van. Some pretty poor "investigating."
Worth the wait.....

You should have asked why not Superman trows it into the Sun. That would have been more logical at your age.
23:11 at that time there was no water jet robot which can split the bomb parts safely
It's astonishing how a person can be so manipulative and selfish that they use their own family to commit such a destructive crime that could have killed 100s of people that had nothing to do with the fathers vendetta just because he didn't have the self control to make sensible financial decisions.

40:14 Ironic, since the extortion amount was also 3 million.
Bet the insurance company was pissed.
I hope they gave $250,000 of the reward to the woman who gave them the description of the van and license plate number the day after it happened. Just because they didn't monitor the 800 number they set up and got her message a month later and then be too stupid in their "investigation" when they had the right guy the first time from her lead isn't her fault. Actually, if they would have listened to her message, they probably wouldn't have had to blow up the casino/hotel. They would have had their man already.

oh sure at 20:37 narrator said If he doesn't want the money what does he want?
Not to get apprehended duh, the note the bomber gave them did say not to have FBI Involved In this, how stupid can america get, of course the guy doesn't want to be seen or caught, because the FBI Is Involved with this case, jeez It's crazy how they still caught suspects at the end, this case would of been unsolved just like that.

FBI would of saved themselves a lot of time, if they just looked at Harrahs list of people who owed a significant amount of $$$$
I read your comment at the start of the video .. I was thinking the person must have owed them a million dollars.. but $15,000 is not a lot of money for a marker you could have made arrangements to pay off the debt.
