- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed to Los Angeles by Ashley Tisdale for an inside look at the stunning new home she designed for her family. Tisdale and her composer husband Christopher French moved into their current home when she was around seven months pregnant, at which point the High School Musical alum dove headfirst into decorating. The talented Tisdale was well prepared for the undertaking, considering she launched her design passion project, Frenshe Interiors, last year. “I went with the mentality of falling in love with every piece,” she says. “I fully love this house. I love every piece of everything I’ve done here, and I’m really proud of myself.”

She is allowed to buy things for her home, if that’s how she wants to spend her money. If her wanting her house to look nice for a architectural/interior design interview is shallow, then okay! She’s shallow. But that doesn’t mean she’s not honest about it.

I love this. I love seeing the homes of celebrities. I'm 64yrs old and still a dreamer of having something beautiful. Of course I'm jealous . those in my same situation can understand. But I don't begrudge them having things that God granted them. I'm not like that. I've struggled hard as an adult trying to make it in the world. Growing up very dirt poor having nothing was hard. I still dream having a great home for my family and having a place to be proud of that children and grandchildren can enjoy. I'm proud of everyone who has made it. And this young lady has did a fantastic job decorating & designing her home for comfort & love to fill it with lots of love & laughter. Congratulations goes out to her & her husband. @Vanessa E I referenced it because she did not give credit to the designer in which she drew the inspiration from and wanted to give people the opportunity if they liked the style to locate the designer and research the materials she used . Further, the composition of the room is show cased in Athena Calderones BK Brownstone and in her book "Live Beautiful". It is not her design "style" it is her design, almost precisely. This is not a question if you have looked at her space...there is absolutely nothing wrong with it being embodied in this house at all. The comment wasnt a stab it was meant to be informative to people who were inspired by that part of the home themselves.
