When Should a Trader Take a Withdrawal?

When to take a withdrawal is a great question, and there is no “one size fits all” answer. Realistically, when you withdraw, and how much you withdraw is going to vary from trader to trader. The answer depends on who you are and how you need to operate.

I have a question: If you make 3000 and withdrawal half, if the account goes to zero, what happens to the other half? is it a 50% split politcy on TOPSTEP? ...

Calculation example: I have a 100K account and make 10K profit a month, I can relax and have 5K paid out, right?

Yes 50 percent of the balance and you have to have 5 winning days over 100 bucks to make a withdraw

How long does it take to get ur funded account after you’ve passed step 2 ?

If moving from Step 2 into a Pro Account or Express Funded Account, it can take between 1-2 business days for the funded-level account to be ready for use. An account that is being set up in the Live environment can take between 7-10 business days as we work with our brokerage partners to set up the live Funded Account.

I totally disagree with this … cover up your balance and execute your trading plan FLAWLESSLY .
If you become or are obsessed with the money YOU WILL FAIL .
If you have a little account say £3000 and win a bit say £1500 and then you withdraw , what happens next ? The inevitable losing run and your £1500 profit was there to cushion that loss !!
DO NOT WITHDRAW .
