Everyone with the name Min are distantly related and "descended" from royals. He didn't have any benefits of it, his family is not some royal family. He was working at record studio since 13 years old, that's how he started learning music production. Later he was a delivery boy. He was making MIDI and also giving composing lessons, he was selling music on streets and didn't have enough money to buy a food or bus ticket. This was at the time when he was undeground rapper. Hope you understand that he is not really royal descent. It is just rumor
Suga does a lot of the producing for BTS
wanted to add that though he is a descendant of royalty, his family was not wealthy and he struggled financially a lot. his family was very against him pursuing a musician career and but he still sneaked out to do what he wants. when he came to seoul he didn't have money and at some point he could only afford one time meal a day (and that's if he decided to not go home by bus). the big problem was also people scamming him taking his works and not paying him. he started to work part time and worked so even while being a trainee in bighit, that's how he got his shoulder injured for all those years until he finally agreed to surgery in december last year. a tough cookie indeed.
Bro, facts. Agust D had the hardest life pre-debut out of all BTS members. Bang PD even called him precocious. I remember after releasing his first mixtape, Bang PD said "where is the incisive person full of wrath from before had gone?"
For real, Agust d has gone through so many shits and hardships in the past. He has sacrificed so much from music. He only has music and he lives for music. He heals himself through music and heals other people through it too. He is okay now, improved a lot and had softened up now.

although agust d’s music is very hardcore, he also contributes his music in other collabs with artists as “suga”, collaborating with artists like halsey (suga’s interlude), IU (28) and lee sora (song request). yoongi is a self-producer and is known in bts to have produced the most songs for the group. he has royal blood in him due to being in the min clan (hence his last name being min) but he grew up being a poor underground rapper that got ripped off when trying to sell his songs to get a bite to eat or a bus ride home as a teenager. he lived a really rough life up until he became a member of bts, and so seeing him now as a grown and matured artist is truly inspiring, especially because he has stayed humbled and grounded til this day. truly a great individual of bts, and i can’t wait for you to be able to learn about the other members as well!!!!
this song and 'Agust D' is from his first mixtape titled 'Agust D' which was released in 2016. it's basically a mixtape introducing who he is as Agust D and not as his persona 'Suga' from BTS. his Agust D persona is more raw, personal, and rough with his music and overall delivery of lyrics. his name 'Agust D' is literally 'Suga' backwards, and the 'D T' stands for Daegu Town, which is where he is from. he truly is a genius in both personas.

I hate when people tell reactors about the royalty thing it is really pointless and irrelevant in his life story and experience as an artist. It's as if we are telling the size of his closet. It is really pointless and does not mean anything. It instead feeds people this false reality about Yoongi. Can we as a fandom just not tell this to new reactors or maybe if we do can we not exaggerate it as if he is royalty or something. It really diminishes the impact of his struggles in life and his struggles in becoming an artist.

One of the reasons why he roast the haters too much is because he and RM were insulted in a show very badly when they were rookies. Those guys were rappers and they said that BTS rappers doesn't even _look_ like rappers because they apply makeup which makes them look gayish(yes that person said that). And Yoongi never forgot that incident. Actually non of the members did.

His family was really poor and didn’t support his dream to pursue music. They wanted him to get a safe job that would be secure. I believe he left home and worked part time jobs while being a traini. One day during his part time job he almost got ran over and his shoulder got smashed. He was too scared to tell anyway, in fear of getting kicked out so he suffered his traini days with a messed up (crushed) shoulder. He also has battled depression, which he mentions a little in his song “The Last”.
Suga, aka Agust D, wrote, composed, and produced all of his works - his 2 mixtapes and his D-Day album!!!! Like he raps in Daechwita, from his second mixtape, D-2, I'm genius!!!!! Yes, Suga IS a musical genius!!!!

Honestly your way of getting into BTS is genius, usually when I get into new groups I just look at them as a whole and let myself get bombarded with information, then get into individual projects(songs) later. But I feel as if your tactic is smarter, it would definitely make your journey of exploring/getting to know a new group easier.

I think it'd be really cool if you could react+review J-Hope's '1verse' track or all of Hope World. Hope World definitely shows off his musicality but '1verse' is just raw af and definitely doesn't get as praised as much.
Linton Wilson with another banger. He wrote and produced this. He is a workaholic in high demand as a producer while also being known to say that he just wants to rest or sleep or be reincarnated as a rock. All BTS members are known for their duality. A different kind of duality but he is no exception there, either.
If you really want to know about his struggles, The Last is a very personal song about himself. I highly recommend it. I have read lots of comments elsewhere about how his ancestor's children would not have ruled and a sizeable number of Koreans have the surname Min but I still like to use the crown emoji for him. Yoongi IS swag and it ain't brag if you earned it. He did overcome a lot of obstacles and fought his way to the top.

Wow I love the „slow motion is still motion“ quote :o I always go by the 70% rule. If I can‘t do 100% then at least 70 or even 20%, everything is better than 0. Because of my Adhd and executive dysfunction it‘s really hard to not get discouraged because I don‘t get some tasks done that easily as others.

Your should react to "The Last" by Suga. (He mentions his depression in the past and his accident before bts debut in 2013. And His shoulder that was totally destroyed when he had to work part part of his time because of his company ´Big Hit´ was bankrupt. He had to leave his city, Daegu, and go to the great city of Seoul against the approval of his parents . In the song, mentions, it was there that he suffered from phobia to go out to a concert. And where he had suicide attempts. He had to vist to the psychiatrist). He cames from a poor family, too, that is the reason his parent didn´t agree with his musical career. Another Suga song that I recommend is "First Love", where he brings to life something abstract like a piano, to identify it with his passion form music, which at the age of 8 he discovered it. I wanted to clear up a few things though: the songs 'Agust D' and 'give it to me' are part of his first mixtape (so not D-2) and Yoongi also isn't a direct descendant of royalty. That apparently goes waaayyy back in his family tree. Yoongi's family wasn't well off at all so he actually had to work his way up all by himself. Just thought it'd be better to clear that up now to avoid confusion...

Ddaeng is a song from bts' rapline so it's only sang by Yoongi (Suga), Namjoon (RM) and Jhope (Hoseok) and it's also written by them like all of their work. I actually never realized it before but the trailer? truck? he's rapping on at 9:37 is the same one he escapes from in 'agust d' (you can tell from the railings that it's clearly the same ones he was leaning on in the agust d mv) so there's a bit of continuity there

Although Yoongi is descended from royalty, that does not describe his growing up years. BTW, he produces and directs his own videos and writes the music.

i commend you for taking your time in knowing each member and doing background research on the artist. I have seen some reactors who have been reacting to many BTS mv/music and still don't know their names or can't still differentiate which if very frustrating at times. Each member is an individual with different talents, manners etc... they come together so beautifully as BTS. Also, Yoongi has a studio name Genius Lab and it's where the magic happens. He produces, writes and performs for BTS, for himself as well as other artist, that's why is also known as MIn PD Nim. I can't wait for you to listen to Ddaeng.

He usually co-produces his tracks with Slow Rabit, Pdogg( BTS's main producer), Ghstloop and El Capitxn (most tracks have credits to Agust D and one or two people from this list). I think thry are all under Big hit but I don't think I've seen them being credited for BTS's music outside of Yoongi's solo

Thur Agust D I found BTS. He is awesome. I heard Dynamite on the radio one day on my way to work and thought they were just another boy-band so I dismissed them. He made me take a second look at BTS after looking at all his solo work. I had the wrong impression entirely of BTS. I've been ARMY for a year now.

Listening to this track today, I realized I wanted to dance it. My daydream took me on stage with Suga, Jimin, and j-hope. The collaborative, freestyle choreo would dance the counterpoint of instrumentals and Suga's laugh, and support Suga's attitude without interfering with his vision or focus in any way. In those few dreamed minutes, this song became a magical object in my landscape. Then I come and find your reaction, lol. Wonderful. 🌿💜🌿
