This song means so much to me. It’s really hard to explain but yoongi really just hits the spot and gives so much comfort by having him talk about this stuff. It keeps me as a person grounded and as well letting me see the world in a whole different perspective. Thank you so much for reacting/commentating on this truly
the lines about "speciality" were particularly about how separated suga feels. he often sais he misses simple things he can't do now: walking the street, grocery shopping, etc - all normal things to us. his normality now is what people usually crave. but in the end we are all just people with the same feelings, longing for something we don't have, doesn't matter what your normality is i really love this song. as you said it also makes me worry less about things that won't actually matter in the big picture. that won't matter more than being happy thank you
This video was more commentary > reaction. Definitely loved this one very much. My favorite part was 5:32 and onwards, the portion where he speaks about "so what if you get hurt" Its personally just a perspective shift for me. Let me know how you guys felt about it!
He says "your normality is what's special to me" because them living their life as idols cannot enjoy the normal things we do, e.g. going to the movies, walking in public, etc. These mediocre things we get to experience isn't something they can afford.
This was my bait into becoming ARMY. I heard this first then I did translation- I WAS IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG FOR MONTHS, I youtubed agust d- and that eventually led to BTS and then I decided to look up their names, and the rest was history 😅

People continue to disregard BTS, putting their fanbase into boxes, and it’s because of this stigma that they refuse to actually sit down and TRY to listen to them. I have only been a fan for a year and BTS has changed my life so drastically. They’re the ones who pushed me into my journey of self love and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. Great reaction Linton! I really enjoyed listening to your wise words. You're like a therapist to heal people. You're right that BTS music is more than just KPop and that's exactly what ARMY have been saying all the times. Their music and messages are so impactful and that's why they have so many fans globally.
I actually wasn't aware there was a MV for this… good to know! Edit: Oh is this the fanmade one? Edit 2: watching this made me remember why People is one of my favourite songs… of all time, really. This and 28, which is another song on this track. Really, the whole D-2 album is a masterpiece!
I’m 99% sure the female background vocals are Adora. She was a producer at bighit for a long time, but she just now recently left to pursue a solo career 😊 She just came out with a song called “Make u dance” on November 5th. She has background vocals on a lot of BTS tracks, and also on the Agust D tracks: Moonlight, 28 and Interlude: Set Me Free. People is one of my favorite Agust D tracks as well 💜 my all time favorite from him is So Far Away (though it always makes me cry) 🥲
" what's normal to you is special to me" it actually means (based on their break the silence documentary) that what we consider normal like walking down the street, going out on a restaurant or shopping in malls-it's special to him because it's difficult for them to do it anymore. The moment they step outside, people flock on them or invade their personal space whatsoever. So basically what we normally do everyday is something they somehow wish they can do as well.
I love the philosophical/existential side of AgustD and its one of the many reasons I love him and BTS. ^_^ I love how diverse their music is and how deep they can get on the messages on their songs.
Yoongi is really a genius. Hes one of the most brilliant people in music right now over all. Also, athe girl singing is Adora. She used to be a BTS producer but she also debuted as a solo artist super recently
7:47 i guess he's talking about how in his status of a public person doesn't get to do "normal" stuff, like going out with your family, friends, partying, going to the cinema and stuff, and how his reality (celebrity) it's considered special for "normal" people. I remember hearing talk about this, and how he doesn't get to do all these things. 8:55 that's Adora :)
It had been years since I had found an artist who hit me as hard and made me reflect on life and society the way he does. Everything about his production and lyrics just hit a place that makes me feel seen and more awake to myself and the world. Also I loved the song but the fan made video was new to me and I loved it so thank you for sharing!
People, 28 and So far away are personal atacks to me, Yoongi always gets to my heart. The girl singing in the backround is Adora, she was a producer at Big Hit and before that a mamber of a disbanded girl's group, like a month ago it was announced that she is going to debut as a soloist in another companny, she is a great songwriter and producer and helped Yoongi in some guides and choruses through the years.
I feel like this song taps into everyone's emotions so well, even without knowing the meaning behind the words. I cried the first time I listened to it, even though I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. After I looked up the lyrics I was just an absolute mess. Yoongi definitely captures these thoughts, feelings, and emotions that we've all experienced so, so well in this song. His song 28 also spoke to me deeply, in a very similar way. Love the way you spoke to the lines that really touched you - you've got some great things to say in response. :)
The girl harmonizing near the end of the song was one of their producers that goes by "Adora." She worked with Big Hit since 2016. In past productions for BTS, TXT, etc there are hidden backing vocals. She recently debuted as a soloist, with her song "Make u Dance” ft. Eunha of ViviZ. Some songs you can hear her clearly are Seesaw and Trivia: Love, but there are many backing vocal compilations that ARMY has made on CZcams.
@@liquirseliqore she was a loyal producer ofc she moved on from the company after a few years but just bc she doesn’t produce for them anymore, doesn’t mean we don’t have to care and support her lol? of course bts and other groups under Hybe labels can hire a different female voice for backings. i’m just informing Linton because he commented about her riffs in the song. have a good day and i hope you don’t spread negativity to other people.
@@liquirseliqore why so rude? Nobody forces you to support her. She is not just vocalist for back ground, was the ONLY female producer in Hybe and helped to create masterpieces like this.

I hope you react to *First Love* by suga next... he's not talking about a girl btw but his love for music, his *passion* for music. It's a very personal song and in a QnA Suga said he cried (after the emotional burst part of the song) while recording it, but sadly the file got corrupted so he took a second take for that certain part. _(I don't remember which interview but it's definitely when they're talking about the WINGS album.)_ It's a beautiful song switching from the piano's POV and to him. You can hear his voice change and overlapping with each other near the end like the piano and him is singing a duet. Throughout it's soulful and passionate. A lovely side of Suga that he opened up for us so vulnerably. And seeing the live version with the guitar riff? My heart just feel like bursting, it's crazy. It burned my eyes from crying. I think that anyone who sees that will feel a bit emotional. I closely relate with this song specifically. I'm studying Law while my drawing tablet is left unopened, collecting dust in corner- I wanted to be an animator, an artist. He gave me hope that someday after all my affairs has been cleared, even I could go back to what I was originally passionate about. It'll be a long time but I'll hold on for now... sorry about turning this into a diary. Hope you see this and react to First Love soon!! I think it deserves your attention as you always appreciate this kind of stuff. Have a great day ♡ P.S: The guitar riff at First Love live connects to the song *So Far Away.* Which is also made by Suga and equally poetic. Please check that out too... if you see this. Min Yoongi is so anime tbh makes me think twice if he's real. His music just slaps reality in a beautiful way. I love your reflections!! really...so deep, the world need this, my heart and soul feel so warm with your words and for the lyrics too, thanks :) ps: all the songs about bts, yoongi, etc...is so therapeutic
absolutely loved hearing your perspective on this!! esspecially about what you said about letting emotions get to your ego but not to you... it reminded me of a tweet i saw: "I realized i spoke more passionately about the things that upset me more than the things that brought me peace and happiness. I don´t want to be thee kind of person who obsesses over their pain." edit: watch me writing this down omg your thoughts helped me a lot rn!
This is one of my favorite songs from Yoongi/Agust D, thank you so much for reacting to it. I resonate with a lot of things you said and I really appreciate Yoongi for who he is as an artist. Gahh, this song always has me in my feels too. Especially when he goes: "Then, so what?" because it reminds me not to hold onto life so tightly and just flow like water, let everything wash over me so I can move on. As for the female vocals in the back, I believe she's a Hybe producer (I saw her insta once but I forgot her name!). I wonder if you have time to also react to Agust D - Dear my friend. That song also touched me a lot and had me in my feels, but in a different way. Since it's about something really personal to Agust D and he tells that story through this song. Would absolutely recommend if you have the time.
the person harmonizing with them is adora who is in some of their music and is usually the woman voice that u hear harmonizing with the members who is a producer for hybe. idk if shes still with bighit tho.
Hhaaha.. I've been watching you for months now but I still didn't subscribed to you, I really thought I already did since I subsribed all of the great great reactors of BTS and obviously you're one of them. Anyways I'm a subscriber now. Looking forward to your future reactions
nice i love your interpretation about flow like water. you know I like that phrase too but people around saying that i shouldn't flow like water because they said i shouldn't let something controls me where infact it's not controlling but more like adapting
I really enjoyed your reaction to this song.. and I can relate.. I am on the same BTS self love journey.. I guess you could say. But for me I know it's going to be a long one. I absolutely love BTS and their music, and everything they stand for.. just having a very difficult time with the whole accepting yourself ect.. but their music and RM'S speech at the UN is helping me everyday get better at it I think. It's nice to hear from other people that are relatable. 💜
fyi, the mv is edited by one of the army. its not the original mv. and "people" by agust d is actually dont have any mv. its just a song on spotify. for fans.
The female voice that you heard harmonizing with Yoongi is Adora. She used to be a producer from Hybe. Now she already debuted as a solo singer under Aura ent if I'm not mistaken. You can also hear her voice on J-hope's Daydream, Suga Trivia:Seesaw, she had her hands on Outro : Wings and many BTS and TXT songs. And GFriend too
BTS taught me how to love myself. I known them in the darkest chapter in my life that I almost end my life, but through their music and lyrics especially Min Yoongi, he and the rest of BTS bring me back to life and I'm on the process of loving myself more and making living my life more meaning. I'm a late ARMY member but it's the right time because they saved me. I really really love your reactions 💜 Your insights motivates me like how BTS motivates me. Borahae 💜
The harmony is probably Jimin, cuz the female back up they had, left and when they did BE, they hadn’t found a new one! You said you thought it mean what’s normal is weird, but I believe (which they have said many times before) he is talking about their lives seem extraordinary to others; but it’s normal for them! And things we take for granted, that seem normal to us - are special to them because they don’t or didn’t get to do them! They missed out on every day life things we got to experience growing up, like learning to be independent, live in a dorm or have a regular college experience, or have the experience of going on a date or just dating!

This is my fave song of his then “Shadow”. 😍💜 love your reaction
The respect I have for this man is immense
He is so versatile
People is one of my favorite songs.
loved your video, I got to see a new perspective of life thanks to both you and yoongi :)
People is absolutely my favorite song from the album then it’s Moonlight but this whole album is absolutely chef’s kisses
I don´t want to be thee kind of person who obsesses over their pain."
edit: watch me writing this down omg your thoughts helped me a lot rn!
you're so well-spoken and your voice is so soothing.
Agust D's lyrics are always so powerful. I love his music. He is truly genius producer and genius songwriter
Credits to you too. You have the power to be therapeutic. I can listen and talk to you for hours.
the amount of comfort i got from this song and its nice to see people/fans i can connect & relate with 🥺
This is one of my favorite songs from Yoongi/Agust D, thank you so much for reacting to it.
Water becomes solid at some conditions... Thank you for your commentary on this!
I totally enjoyed this reaction you went real deep this time and this song indeed means a lot to me and I am glad your interpretation was on spot
Much thanks always for your Wisdom filled Video Reaction Linton. 💜
thank you Susie 💜
My favourite song
the person harmonizing with them is adora who is in some of their music and is usually the woman voice that u hear harmonizing with the members who is a producer for hybe. idk if shes still with bighit tho.
agree with u. bts especially namjoon and yoongi are philosophers who are destined to be artists/musician
i just love love love love this song... it really does makes you think/reflect...
The lighting in this vdo is soooo good!
Hhaaha.. I've been watching you for months now but I still didn't subscribed to you, I really thought I already did since I subsribed all of the great great reactors of BTS and obviously you're one of them. Anyways I'm a subscriber now. Looking forward to your future reactions
There is no official mv for this song. This was fanmade
still can't get over how much i love that septum ring
The female voice is Adora's. She is also one of the music producers of big hit.
I've learned more things about being a decent human being than school could ever.
Yes, agust d!
I just LOVE the name u got🤣🤣
love this reaction and your commentary!! i love your interpretations and how u reflect on ur own personal experiences! respect
nice i love your interpretation about flow like water. you know I like that phrase too but people around saying that i shouldn't flow like water because they said i shouldn't let something controls me where infact it's not controlling but more like adapting
Thank you so much ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️💙💙💙💙💙💙💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️💜
Your videos bring me so much comfort, thank you.
One of my comfort song. 💜
28 by Agust D next. lets gooo
Todo mi respeto y admiración para Agust D. Atte Mamá Army 💜
Very well said. You made me cry..thank you
When i feel down..
I listening to this song all day......i appreciat you to react to it.....
This is my absolute favorite song from him
fyi, the mv is edited by one of the army. its not the original mv. and "people" by agust d is actually dont have any mv. its just a song on spotify. for fans.
My favorite Yoongi song 😭
The thing that I hate about that fan made video is that it doesn't say fan made in the title, leading people to believe it was an official mv.
And GFriend too
We dont care about Adora
@@snowpea4322 did i ask?
0:34 alright you got me, I subscribed, chill 💀😂😂❤️
dad you're finally back with agust d
BTS taught me how to love myself. I known them in the darkest chapter in my life that I almost end my life, but through their music and lyrics especially Min Yoongi, he and the rest of BTS bring me back to life and I'm on the process of loving myself more and making living my life more meaning. I'm a late ARMY member but it's the right time because they saved me.
I really really love your reactions 💜
Your insights motivates me like how BTS motivates me.
Borahae 💜
the background runs are done by Adora, a producer in bighit. she’s done background vocals in other bts songs as well:))
Bts »»»»»»»»»»»»» privileged Adora
ive missed your videos!!
they're back
@@LintonWilson we are listening to adora vocalizing with Yoongi ✨ she is a songwriter/ record producer at hybe
The harmonizing female voice is Adora, their in house producer. She's just debuted as a solo artist outside of Hybe/Big Hit :)
Yessss I really love this song THANKS for the reaction 💜
This is one of my favorite songs. Loved your reaction! 🌟
I got so confused, I thought that you would reach to 5SOS - Jet Black Heart bc of that part of the video at the preview lmaoo
I am so glad that u react ti thid song...
I love ti......
5:48. 8:58. 10:17 self aware. 11:09. 11:58 deep
I was just listening to this yesterday. and why have I not received any notifications of your posts??
The harmony is probably Jimin, cuz the female back up they had, left and when they did BE, they hadn’t found a new one! You said you thought it mean what’s normal is weird, but I believe (which they have said many times before) he is talking about their lives seem extraordinary to others; but it’s normal for them! And things we take for granted, that seem normal to us - are special to them because they don’t or didn’t get to do them! They missed out on every day life things we got to experience growing up, like learning to be independent, live in a dorm or have a regular college experience, or have the experience of going on a date or just dating!
You speak very beautifully
People 😍 I love this song!
Love the new set up!
