Stigma is very much on the genre V loves, he has Very much of a different taste in music compared to other BTS members. He really loves Jazz, Blues, Soul and even classical music. I think Classical is one of his Great Loves in Music. And He has Just Right Voice, tone and range to do this kind of music. He is talented! I wouldve LOVED to see you do STIGMA live.

tae’s range is unlike like any others because although being a baritone he can still hit high notes that many in his normal vocal range can’t his voice is so recognizable in the industry it’s unmatched it’s very evident that he loves old school jazz and classical music you should check out his solo songs especially snow flower because it’s jazzy as well but also scenery, winter bear and 4 o’clock

I love the way that you analyze the songs you listen to!
When i first heard this song, and i looked at the lyrics, I interpreted it very differently than you, mostly because of personal experiences.
To me, the lyrics strongly reminded me of when I came out to my parents, And how badly they reacted.
I had hid who i was for so long, i buried it so far down, in hopes that the idea that i wasn't a perfect, straight girl would be gone.
Unfortunately, it wasn't. So when I came out to my parents, it didn't go well. And like the lyrics of Stigma, it was as if they were the ones being punished, not me. They blamed themselves, like it was their fault that i turned out this way. They would say things like "how could you do this to me, after everything we've done for you."
The lyrics of Stigma really resonated with me in that sense, particularly when he was apologizing to his family, and the line "are you calling me a sinner"
Along with the part that goes "even if i tried to hide it or conceal it, it can't be erased" it reminded me of how i would try to hide and act normal, but it was still there. Along with my family telling me that i was sinning by being gay, that i would be punished for it.
(Ironically enough, looking back on it, they were more punished than me)
Anyways, this was kinda long and probably made no sense lol, but i loved your reaction!

I personally enjoy a lot the most beautiful moment in life pt 1 and 2 (albums). But all their music, honestly. They’ve got so many beautiful songs. What’s really nice with bts is how they like to experiment and play around with different themes and music genres. Maybe you could check ddaeng , since you like these kinds of artistry experimentation and rap, as well as nice cultural touches. It’s nice seeing you enjoy slower pace music from them as well! When the music is good, the music is good hahahah

While not necessarily intended to be a lgbt+ song, it can seen through that lens. There is a very good, very well put together and very long paper on Quora (that's pretty easy to find) that gives her point of view on why it's talking about the lgbt+ experience. I know that I personally relate to the song that way. However, the beauty of music is that there can be a lot of interpretations.
This is my favorite solo song by V. Singularity is amazing though. Jimin's Lie, Serendipity and Filter are also some of my favorites. Something to look in to.

Even if you don’t react, listen to it. This song you’re reacting to, “Stigma” is from the BU and part of the fictional storyline, I believe. I forgot to tell you that the “Sweet Night” version I gave you is a lovely compilation video created by elisssa, a channel on CZcams. I couldn't help but to cry when you start reflecting on the song as this song were one of the first BTS songs that got me into BTS and I was torn, lost and as what you said the feeling of just being broken due to personal internal issues. Thank you for reflecting the song with the explanation of catharsis which made sense as to why I was so drawn to the song when I discovered them. I didn't even know I was broken but yeah. I don't find this reflective type of reaction and review these days. so thank you again and again for sharing your thought process in the video based on the song you are reacting :) and also thank you for putting out the message of that I have to let myself give the permission to be better rather than let myself rot in pain. Thank you so much for REACTING. Taehyung really has one of the most UNIQUE vocals in K-pop industry. He's baritone but unlike those baritone in K-pop industry, he can hit that 6th octave note which is very rare. His voice is soulful and very healing.

You're right... it was in the shortfilm of V... Stigma... Every shortfilm contained a sample of the solosong by the member it presented... beside sugas bc his had two songs (also a sample of Jungkooks solo song) in it

I think you'd really benefit from a full album listen at some point. BTS's discography is designed to be listened in full, they follow a narrative. Each album has it's own unique colour and I feel that you'll appreciate these tracks more hearing them in the way they were designed to be heard. This isn't a critique by the way! Just a suggestion :)

This song made me a Tae ulti. His emotions, his high notes, his low notes....everything about this song is art. It's his art that so many people dont understand. If they just dig deeper in his uniqueness than they would understand the way he acts and his music.
I'm happy that you liked this song. Please react to more of his songs.
    Like:
    -Winter bear
-someone like you (it's a cover)
    -sweet night
    -scenery
    - singularity
    -Inner Child
    - Hug me
    - Even if I die, it's you (it's his song that he wrote for a drama that he acted on too. "Hwarang"
Hope to see reaction to this

man, I love how you explain the lyrics and it's kinda accurate.. and I love how you explain about the broken glass, it's true that we can't fix a broken glass but we can melt it and make a new and beautiful glass.. I so love it...

wow, the way you dive in into the lyrics of songs is really something else. I would usually skip the reviewing section of a reaction because they're so boring but you actually got me to realize the deeper meaning of lyrics and teach more abt life. pls continue doing reactions! i'll be rooting for you!!

I have to say that "Stigma", Jimin's "Lie" and J Hope's "Mama" are three of my all time favorite songs from BTS. Don't get me wrong, I love all of BTS Discography, but these three along with their album "Wings" is my favs. All three of them are directly connected to their storyline. But you really need to see all three of them LIVE. It is so worth it....

Many people don't know the actual depth and range Taehyung has when it comes to performing be it Dancing or Singing. His Singing range is the widest in the whole group, by which he literally nails every track given to him. His Stage presence and how he expresses his Art his whole another level! Appreciate your genuine reaction

If you watch him sing you can see why his voice carries such weight and is so capable of drawing you in and holding you with its authenticity. It's so unique too. I don't think I've heard anyone who sounds quite like Tae.
Definitely treat yourself to the live version.

I'm glad you're enjoying this! On a completely unrelated note, you should watch/react to Run BTS. They are utterly chaotic, hilarious, and I think you'll enjoy their shenanigans. There's also a Music video called Run, which has nothing to do with their game show, but that's also a good MV to watch!

This song actually a battle within him self..its part of BU where he hide all his problems, anxiety to his friends(Bts) until he do the things even him didn't think off..his sorry for bts for not telling them what's happening to him and sorry for his sister for leaving her alone and his sorry for himself too for not protecting himself his been dealing with a lot and hide it to everyone around him I feels like his torturing himself..that's what I think in this song hope I am right tho..

Yeah Namjoon mentioned that Tae got inspired by the storyline, however Tae himself also said that he didn’t want to discuss the meaning because it was too personal.

    • @reenie6721
      @reenie6721 Před 3 lety +5

This song is way more personal. Taehyung never really explained it, but Namjoon said in a live that the song is really personal and if someone was to explain it, then it should be Taehyung himself. There's a lot of theories about it, but we shouldn't 100% trust these, because the song could mean anything. Also, you can see that this is personal with the lyrics, when he said "I'm sorry my brother" and then "I'm sorry my sister", in real life, he has both, but in the BTS storyline he only has 1 sister (if I'm not wrong)
