Here we are at Virginia Motorsports Park and this is where the point race begins. This week we're only given 1 grudge pass before Race Your Way In, where we had 2 last week. Our team has really come together to help each other get their cars right since we only have one pass to do it. Giuseppe Gentile and Rich Bruder both came by to offer help with getting The 2nd Amendment car's timing to top-dead center. It may not be the issue and we know Proline race motors are the top in the business, but we have to check everything just to be sure. As we thought, that wasn't the issue but now we have one less thing on our checklist.
Big thanks to Javi and Team Ryan Martin for helping us in a pinch. One thing you don't want to do is go for a pass and not have any data to show for it. It sucks, but it sometimes happens on the starting line. Javi and Ryan were able to help me with FuelTech system so that we got data to work with. Unfortunately, the car lost boost about 200 ft so we have to go back to the pits and figure out what happened.
Turns out that one of our turbo clamps was not on correctly, the o ring was on the wrong flange. Thankfully we had Wade from Race Part Solutions near by and he took the time to fix our issue. Thanks Wade!

The only one making twin turbos work rn is Lutz! Turbos are a lost cause. I prefer instant horsepower, not gradual B.S.

Chuck I'm a Ford Guy, and I love the combination you run. But if you build another car please look at the 1971 FORD TORINO, It's the same wheel base as the MACH 1 and it's got great hips. You can fit alot of tire
Underneath those hips. And the TORINO GT. Is a bad ass looking car. And no one else has one in all of Street Outlaws.

Love the car and meeting you is always great but it might be time to switch 2nd Ammendment over to a pro charger combo NPK really isn't turbo friendly racing anymore the pro charger and blower cars are dominating the field

Chuck, you sound exactly like Shawn did before he went to the Pro charged Hemi! No one is winning with turbos anymore! The field has just gotten too fast for them. Unless NPK gives Turbo's another weight reduction, you're fighting a dead horse!
Do the supercharger cars 60' better than the turbos? What is the advantage?

@jeffledoux5439 pro chargers are more consistent than turbos! You generally have only 1 blow off valve vs 2, so less moving parts to malfunction.

It's a shot in the dark but u think maybe those exhuast sides of the turbos is to small . Maybe there actually hugs but they look tiny compared to the compressor side 😅😂😂😂
