@@solararity6969 ok thank u
Love your videos!
Art is like magic. Most artists keep their secrets to themselves and just let their art blow minds. YOU SIR are the most beautiful continuation of Bob Ross's legacy. You create incredible, deep, mesmerizing art, but you also treat you viewers like they are your closest family, and you walk them through everything you do, including all the little tweaks and secrets. You always underrate yourself, but man, you are a treasure to the community. Keep it up, man. You are Bob Ross's legacy.
Such beautiful words! You flatter me!
@@Gammatrap beautiful vid
@@Gammatrap you deserve it man. You helped me so much in gaining back my confidence in art and not being hopeless you actually made me believe art is easy with practice. And your tutorial’s are so amazing that words can’t describe it. Thank you so much ✨
“Its gonna be fun, and its gonna be nice, and it’s gonna be sharp, and it’s gonna be pretty... but its not gonna be realistic”
Like my love life expectations!!!!
Very relatable xD
Daaaannnng, there is so many people!!! It's so nice to see so many people enjoy your stuff Gamma!!
I’m so glad that you still make these tutorials. This is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much.
Love from Ukraine❤️
And it's my absolute pleasure to make them! I hope they serve everyone very well, whenever they need to look back and study them.
I'd love to see a tutorial from you on how to draw hair or fur. I'm not a digital artist yet, but your tutorials have allowed me to grow so much even with conventional pencil and paper drawings. You're a legend, dude!
Just watching the part where you use the red and green to demonstrate how something could be in the ice and I was just thinking could you use this tutorial for making crystals?
I mean, ice is just crystal made of frozen water
Your tutorials are out of this world, intuitive and appeals to learners. I love how you used basic default brushes to show the magic that we can still create. Respect 💯
I feel something I've come to learn from Gammatrap's technique is to use varied mid tones, not all in the same saturation, like some greyer tones in order to create a bit of contrast and not have it look all samey, erase the inner shapes so it looks less drawn and more... grown in a way, like you can't see the strokes as easily as you could for some art, giving it more realism
Using black and white wisely, only for the brightest parts and the darkest parts, unless you're going for some sort of aesthetic it works better with
And overall let the lighting and or shadows define the artwork's color palette and feel, you'd be surprised how many colors compliment each other well in many ways
Bravo!! I'm very proud of this assessment!
@@Gammatrap Thanks to you I can draw with color quite decently, I even won a contest thanks to what I learned!
Thank you so much. Used this to try to draw an ice throne for Esdeath
great tutorial!!! super underrated channel!
i learned so much watching your videos!
I'm happy to hear that! Thank you!
Bro I know this is an older video but thanks so much man, I learned a ton
This was super helpful. This shapes on shapes method for stylized is really cool and I am trying it out with other things too. Thanks so much for these tutorials!!
It certainly feels like magic before you see how things are made. You sir are amazing. Keep it up. Gonna try this out now!
This tutorial was a lifesaver!! I’m working on something that I originally was going to draw with a stone background but ice is more fitting, but I had no clue how to draw it. I’m still a beginner artist so my ice isn’t as good as yours but it still looks amazing! Thank you so much for making these tutorials! You just gained a subscriber :)
Thank you for this. Ive learned more from your channel in the last few days than I have anywhere else.
I love your content so much because when I ever press your videos I already know I’m gonna learn something amazing from you. Keep up the great work! ✨💙🙏

Glad you think so! I try my best to make them in a way that might bring someone who knows absolutely nothing about the techniques or topics up to speed enough to make the rest of the tutorial make sense.
Your explosions are top tier 👌
Your amazing I was suffering and screaming at my shading but this tutorial helped me a lot!! U just got yourself a new sub :)
thanks a lot for the help!

I thank you a lot. This helped me :-)
Dudeeee this is amazing-
Thank you so much!!
hi im new sub, i love your material rendering tutorial, it help me alot.
thankyou
Wow
Man, you are awesome, I love your videos so much.
Thank you so much! I'm very glad you like them.
Ok, i tried to do it but I can't get the dark parts right :/. They just look ugly when I do them
The more you start from the corners of the shape and move inward and think of the ice as a 3d block, the easier it'll be to find the shadows. It'll take some practice.
This is really helpful, game art ice assets. Can you make some videos for some beginner concept artists who want to work in gaming industry. Like, making assets, environment, stylized & realistic, etc. Please if you get time.
That sounds like an absolutely lovely idea! I've played around with the idea and have even done stylized fire and metal tutorials, but I do enjoy making these types of tutorials very much. I'd love to make some of stone texture, trees, wood texture, swords, and the like.
Here we fucking go!!! Thank you for this!
My pleasure :) I know this one was being waited for, so I hope it doesn't disappoint!
Nice tutorial :D Can you do Lightning effects? that would be cool
I actually do have a lightning tutorial :)
@@Gammatrap ah, very nice.

Can this work as diamonds? I have an oc with diamond powers and I wonder if this could work with the diamond theme

чуваак, как же я рада, что ты тут есть)
Time for my usual bad pun
Cool
As much as I roll my eyes.... I do, in fact, appreciate your puns!
@@Gammatrap lol you're welcome!
this is really helpful but im having a problem finding the planes of the ice im making any tips?
Will there be a realistic ice tutorial?
OMG I need this brush! Dude, how did you get this? I want some, can you send me a link where I may find this brush?
OMG! ok, but you gotta promise to keep it a secret! If you download any digital art program (IT'S ALREADY ON THERE) crazy right?! And what's more, is that most of them call it by different names (BUT IT'S THE SAME BRUSH) 😆
Random blue blob to perfecc ice crystals.. What is this sorcery :V
Omg how did you get the stool thing I want it
The base I painted the ice over? I painted it
@@Gammatrap oh okay but can I ask you something
What's up?
@@Gammatrap can you do a video on how to make magic like wandas and raven plz
Help me👁👄👁 please do another one because I don't have the right brushes and I'm using ibispaint x
Ibispaint doesn't have basic round brushes?
@@Gammatrap Idk, sorry
It's ok :) programs are all different and can be intimidating and confusing. But the good news is, if they've got brushes of any kind, they can be used to make whatever you need
@@Gammatrap it has a lot I use watercolor opaque mainly
(N)"ice magic"
Hi I am very new to adobe. Thanks for the tutorial first of all just found this gem of yours. Subbed immediately. Just a quick question, how did you set up the background in your scene/canvas? the table and the wall? Thanks!
