If that motor is between 2013 to 2016 It has carboned up piston rings. Cummins will do an update kit / inframe if still under warranty. That’s why your filter is getting soaked with oil. Then you will start having all kinds of DEF issues because of the oil entering the DOC filter. Nox sensors etc. just had 5 trucks done at 225000 miles. You’ll be consuming a lot of oil. I had the same problem and I just removed that material that the oil het sucked up, so its same like yours but I dont have that little vent on mine , why is the little vent for, should I get a real bypassed filter?
mine has same issues and check engine light ON. Replaced the sensor and filter but the light is still on there. Is there any way to clear codes manually? thanks in advance
You need to check air compressor, usually it is problem with coolant gasket, you can fix it to purchase air compressor head gasket kit, or change all compressor.
Me isx Cummings 2007 haves problems crankcase pressure filter I put new one keep makes problems I buying different filter I makes 3 holes in top now show me sensor crankcase pressure problems. Truck now is good condition still haves the light for crankcase pressure now runs good is what I need 🤣😅😆

What if the coolant is filling crankcase filter and coolant reservoir has more pressures
