This series is poetic in so many ways, Daniel beat his demon just like Johnny beat his(Kreese). And Daniel did it using Silvers methods like what Chozen said, using his style against him, and the cherry on top is how he took him out using the crane kick that Silver called "crap"
I love how Daniel utterly dominates Silver. He uses the crane kick and Quicksilver method against him, and Silver never lands a single blow. In front of all of his students. I can see Mr Miyagi giving that approving smile and nod.

Man I will never get over how bittersweet and awesome it was to witness Daniel using Terry Silver's Quicksilver method against him, having it all come full circle. Damn proud to be a Karate Kid fan and of Daniel, seeing him become the man Miyagi knew he could be and the lethal and competent fighter, that was always there. As a kid I watched the og 3 karate kid films and was skeptical about cobra kai, but holy shit man they blew away all my worries and in their place, left me with fresh fond memories. May the Karate Kid franchise never die!
It ends just when Miyagi forced Silver into the wall during their last fight mocking him as glass broke and paint fell getting into his hair. Perfect finish 👌

Daniel is, after all, the franchise character. Since 1984, he's defeated Johnny, Chozen, Mike Barnes, Robby's punk buddies, those goons at the garage, an entire hockey team, Kreese, and Silver. Granted, he's lost to some of these people too, but he's beaten all of them at least once.

I did not expect Daniel would be the one defeating Silver but it is pretty satisfying to see that he used the quicksilver against him. He did not only took revenge of had been hurt by Silver previously he also showed up who Silver really is I mean Daniel did not only defeat Silver fighting, he also destroyed Silver's fake reputation and giant ego.
We all love seeing the former bullies become heroes, but this scene was a perfect reminder that Daniel Larusso, the OG Karate Kid, is still the best around. Bet Silver regrets asking "Danny Boy" to do the Crane Kick now.

This was my favorite moment in Season Five!! I love Terry Silver! But Daniel using Quicksilver against him the way he did was just so satisfying to me Ya Know! Like ultimately Daniel got closure here. And as much as I want Cobra Kai to continue past this season coming up, I'm satisfied as an 80s baby and 90s child, that it closed several chapters for the older characters.
Daniel was fully focused, better balanced and completely calm on the fight and did not allow Silver's taunting to get to him whatsoever. Daniel used Silver's Quicksilver technique against him, heading to the advice he got from Chozen. He also utilized the techniques he learnt from Chozen, Johnny and Miyagi. The icing on the cake was when Daniel used the crane kick, Silver often mocked Daniel for to finally defeat him.
I always knew that fight would be end game even though chozen vs silver was more epic but Daniel is the one!! He beat all of them now and his spirit is unbreakable! Even Kim liked it 😄
Daniel is the only one been trained by nearly everyone and all styles, and started earlier than Silver, so really he’d be better. S6 they might bring him out as the clear best and put him up against all villains, including Kim’s dad if they introduce him.
