I'm in the market for a safe at this time and would appreciate your opinion. I'm considering the reasonably priced Sentry safe with the dial combination lock.
And then, that one time when you could massively improve the security of a product with a pair of pop rivets...
And then if the battery for the fingerprint reader goes dead, how do you get in the safe? The problem is that the bypass lock is crap, not that it's accessible.
@@mhfuzzball pop rivets can be drilled out and replaced when the owner fails preventive maintenance. It increases the complexity of an attack and the chances of leaving traces, since you would need a (power) drill, and if you wanted to be stealthy about it, a rivet tool as well.
Legend says nobody searched for this video...
My favorite part about LPL's videos is how he roasts the shit out products, but does it using the most non-threatening possible language and vocal tone. 🤣
actions speak louder than words. he keeps it professional, and we respect that.
I enjoy watching your vids. The question keeps popping in my head. WHICH padlock SHOULD I buy that is not easily picked? Peace.
At this point, it's better to have a good hiding place than putting it in a visible safe
you may still use the safe to keep the muggers entertained.
When you can call a safe an "unsafe"
Damn you opened the lock faster than my video could fully load
My aunt's house had an expensive lock on the front door and an ancient bit-key lock on the back door. This safe is similar, a sophisticated fingerprint lock as its main entrance and a cheap key lock behind the nameplate. Not too bright. I suppose it needs a "back door" for when the battery fails in the fingerprint gizmo.
