- Authorities in the Belgian city of #Liege on Thursday urged residents to #evacuate neighbourhoods on the Meuse river as several days of heavy rains threatened historic #flooding. According to the Belgian media, at least six people died in the country as a result of the floods, including four in the eastern district of Verviers alone. Thousands of people may have to be relocated.

My heart goes out to anyone that has actually been in this situtation. Familes are scared and desperate to hear from thier loved ones. There was no warning which puts entire communities at greater risk. Pray for all whom are going through this nightmare.

My heart goes out to that poor girl and the rest of the affected. My brother's girlfriend is from Liege, but they live most of the time in France. Their apt. is on the second floor and is OK, but her parent's house flooded. The ground floor had a few inches of water, but the basement was filled with water. Whatever they had in there was ruined. Prayers from the U.S.

I've been twice in Belgium. Wonderful people, cities a treasure of art and nature. I feel for them.
As an American from Wisconsin my family and I and many other people support all of those suffering from these floods. We have been blessed here in the Midwest of the US with wonderful rains and cool temperatures recently. Our West Coast has been suffering from extremely dangerous feet and drought. I would like to help all of you out but I have to help our people at home first. Please stay safe and healthy all of you people God bless you all.

Imagine these kind of events happen every year in Asia in monsoon so we know how it feels
I was on a vacation in Philippines back in 2013 when typhoon haiyan struck. It had 6k+ fatalities. The family who took us in had their house flooded and I say 2 storeys. So I feel what these people are going through.

North Indian Floods shouting in your background. Don't be over expressive . South India kerala in 2018/19 had far worse floods and landslides.

It is nice to build homes and businesses next to the rivers, but there is always a danger of floods like this. They need to learn their lessons because it might happen again with the change in weather. Too many areas around the world is experiencing too much rain and floods, and typhoons.
