Hope everyone around that area is in a safe place right now
As a Belgian I am very concerned about this development. I hope the best for the victims of this flood. In these hard times we need to focus on the big picture.
Environmental initiatives must be taken seriously.
What a dreadful way to see your home and city look after flooding. Climate change is real, and we are looking at the start of the changes that have begun.
Stay safe Europe. No politician can stop mother nature, no amount of money and no regulation either.
Human action and activities can
The lady had it right. She said nature is angry.
yes. the Mother Nature is going now give humans the response to our ignorance. we better start respect Nature.
As a Belgian the news that hit me most yesterday was : " The death of approximately 1000 flamingo's somewhere in Turkey, buried half in sand. The lake which provided food and a habitat for these beautiful birds, the water was diverted to into canals for irrigating crops, so the birds ended up in starvation because there was nothing left for them. The greed of people is imaginable
Unimaginable
What happens when climate change causes mass migration.ask your mp
Those poor people. I know that Mother Nature is a powerful force but I still feel for all those affected by the floods.
Imagine this in low temperature winter time. The death toll would be twice as much.
Why do the authorities even let build a village along the confluence and bend of two rivers? In and of itself it is highly risky, and with heavy rains, we have seen what can happen.
Exactly. It's like Pompeii, how smart is it to build a city next to an active volcano?
Pepinster sounds like an English village.
Yeah. The Normans brought the French name to England
@@mabo9636 not sure about the Normans in this area of Belgium but in old walloon language "ster" means land clearing
Please, studie the Geometric sunstorm, it is just now. Last time it was 1989 before that 1800 something.
Vaya tela
So much water. Just tragic.
So housing built right next to rivers get flooded, imagine my shock.
From Somalia I hope the visit the here
This is the new normal...
Like it or not.
Lucky my state didnt get hit i think because there ain no sea´s near it
We rebuilt entire cities that were deleted by war. Often we restored buildings in their original medieval style.
Maybe together with the know how from our neighbors in the Netherlands, we can build out a preventive waterworks system here in Belgium.
the worst thing is that the CO2 entering the atmosphere today will take 100 years before todays CO2 will lead to increased temps as it takes approximately 100 years for the CO2 to reach the upper atmosphere. Thus, the effects felt today were caused by the burning of fossil fuels 100 years ago.
Could have been prevented if they had a flood control river like Los Angeles, California.
deze overstroming is een beloning voor de Belgen voor hun gedrag en werk. God altijd rechtvaardig
It's gonna get worst ......
Has it happened in doesburg?
time to invest on lifejackets and boats..
Save yourselfs the planet is very old
Talking rubbish about to live with climate change..
We don't want normal either..
Let's be moderate in our lives and live, move and have our being in our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Don't be human being...human beings is so destructive....self harms..and commit suicides....
Be born again in.the SPIRIT and water in JESUS Christ.
Amen.
blame "climate change", which could be right...but to blame CO2 is the stretch
Więcej betonu, kostki i asfaltu.Wrzucajcie też więcej śmieci do rzek i strumyków.A kiedy pogłębiane były te rzeki?100 lat temu.Nie ma kto tego robić? Niech politycy biorą łopaty i zapierdalają!!!
It's H.A.A.R.P. not climatechange
Water is blessing but when people miss managed it turns to monster . Now only third world country face it but Europe rich country .. dont blame on climate … blame those people live in the path of river .
For a start, well done. That was pardoned by the MERCIFUL ANGEL!
I like the way they spin their take on this. Extreme weather-flooding devastating, equals climate change (or is linked) .we must rethink how we build our society. I love how they feel they can curtail God's judgement. 🙏🏽 Y'all need to repent and beg for mercy.
There is a Heavenly Father who is calling us to repentance and reconciliation with Him. The end of the age foretold in the Bible is here.
2Pet 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Do shut up... get out and help people. A way better use than pontificating sky gods.

Ezekiel 25: 12-13 Thus saith the Lord God; Because that E'-dom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenge himself upon them; Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will stretch out mine hand upon E'-dom...
These are events of biblical proportions.
The LORD gives and the LORD takes away.
Blessed be the name of the LORD !
God is going to make the sun hotter and hotter.
It is written in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Read it.
