    What Human Resources Managers Do
Human resources managers plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization.
    Work Environment
Human resources managers are employed in nearly every industry. They work in offices, and most work full time during regular business hours. Some must travel to attend professional meetings or to recruit employees.
How to Become a Human Resources Manager
Candidates need a combination of education and several years of related work experience to become a human resources manager. Although a bachelor’s degree is sufficient for most positions, some jobs require a master’s degree. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills.
    Pay
The median annual wage for human resources managers was $113,300 in May 2018.
    Job Outlook
Employment of human resources managers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2018 to 2028, faster than the average for all occupations. As new companies form and organizations expand their operations, they will need human resources managers to oversee and administer their programs and to ensure that firms adhere to changing and complex employment laws. Strong competition can be expected for most positions.

Interviews are like dates. They like you if they like you. Most of my managers picked me for personality, the resume was secondary. And no one---that's right, NO ONE--cared that I had a degree or great GPA.

The "why we should hire you" question is redundant,I'm here to work my ass off so I can support my very expensive addiction to air and life, and we both know there's a million other desperate people wanting to get in,
I'm not here to sell myself like a used car,I'm here for a job interview, not a fucking garage sale.
The video is great, but that one question always seems impossible to answer,
*Uuh..I like moneh, that's why you should hire me*

      @IwasUnknownUser Před 3 lety +2

most interview questions are futile and redundant
maybe there are just so many candidates they can choose
i don't think she can get a job as applicant
and most people working in the companies actually are the same
they are just lucky to get the job

Very informative but I take issue with her saying that it's less common for people to go into HR later in career. Experience in various areas of business and knowledge gained from course work provides a great pathway for pivoting into HR.

  • @ankitaahuja111

I had 1:1 interviews with 2 VPs and on 1 senior manager on 29th oct, this was the last email from HR when I asked for the feedback:
"Thank you for reaching out! I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
I met with the team yesterday to gather feedback and they had positive things to share. They thought your meetings went very well and were impressed by your strong automation knowledge. The team is still in the process of wrapping up interviews, however I did want to let you know that you are still highly considered for the role.
After all interviews have been held, the team will debrief to determine next steps. I will keep you updated throughout the process, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like an update.
Thank you again for your time. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you better!"
not sure, what does that mean, and how should I reply or loose my hope on this? I really liked the opportunity and doesn't want to sound too desperate. Please suggest. thanks
