Make sure when you go to the Akai site That you download the software, and the Firmware.Do you have to have both for the Mpc to sync up with the software.

This is my last ditch effort at this shit, I cant figure this out for the life of me,my midi from my korg isnt playing back properly, the notes are extended and it only plays back like 2 bars then just goes blank ,any idea why ???? This shit has been a nightmare for 2 years. Supposedly easy

@@PoliPopo no luck , I plugged my roland jd xa into the mpc x and it works (kind of) when I record 8 bars into the x upon playback it only plays back 4 , why is that? Cant figure it out. Kronos was doing that too

I noticed you have to record at the beginning of the sequence for audio tracks.

@@PoliPopodo you have an email i can send u a video of what I’m asking like i hear the playback but the major part is how to record the sounds inside the mpc and so when i change to next track to record another sound like bass or brass from my synth boards i lose the last sound on midi i recorded now im recording on a daw it’s fine but how can i record it in stand alone and have those sounds saved
Peace bro, can the mpc x send midi notes into a daw like Logic Pro x in stand alone mode? So that I can play the drums over my tracks, capture the midi and on playback in logic be editing the sounds triggered in the mpc using the parameters etc
Hi popo, on the midi side, I still got a little problem when it comes to mess with the midi volume fader. When you change the volume in a sequence, it doesn't change in another
I usually record everything on one sequence ,
And when I copy the sequence and lower the fader it effects every sequence.

Can you use USB B of Key 37 to *output* the L/R audio of a sequence?
Asking as my mixer (a Yamaha MG10XU) has a USB B 2input/2output that allows for monitoring signal while NOT sending that monitored signal to the stereo out (i.e. this allows monitoring MPC tracks while laying down vocals, guitar, bass etc thru mixer into MPC).

However, I would just recommend using good old wires out the back of the mpc to the mixer fir best results
@@PoliPopo Thanks PoPo. I want to avoid wires as I think with this cheaper mixer there really isn't an AUX channel to speak of that can easily be separated from Main outs. BTW, are you in PHL? I noticed the Eagles hat!
Great video. I have the mpc live 2 and with only 2 midi out ports I was wondering if you know how to daisy chain devices using different channels without a midi interface?
