Yep, there’s just enough room to angle a small utility pry bar in there and hit it with a hammer. Once it is unjammed it’s a long and laborious process rotating the rod all the way back, but it can be done! I haven’t had any problems with mine since
1013aaronb just realized that you were messing with the brake shoes before this. Did you leave slack in the cables before you used the pry bar and the hammer? Thanks again for the advice.
@@aaronbetz1331 I had already pulled the emergency hand brake release, as it had jammed on when I was away from home. Other than that, everything was still connected and left as is.

@@MatPollock Thanks! I was about to remove the module and disconnect all the lines, but I will definitely try this first.
