I HAVE MISSSSSSED YOU GUYS!!!
I'm hoping when the weather gets better you will be out there a LOT!!
Your relationship is a treasure to watch ❤
Hello Melanie! Thanks for your support, we've made another video that should be out next week. Fingers crossed Spring is eventually here....😻x
Me too. Thanks Mud Pies. Happy Days! ☺
That stoneware jar actually looks kind of cool. Like something from Raku Week on the Pottery Throwdown :) Lots of earthy character and perfect for an artist's brushes. Thanks for another great video!
Thanks Sharon! We've found a few of them and each are slightly different👍😻
Always good fun hanging out with Mudpies
Cheers Iain ❤️
Woot! Mudpies back in the mud!🥳 Love the scrolled heel on that pipe 😍
Thanks, oh to find a complete one! 😻😻😻
Mudpies back in the thick of it, eh. Thx for sharing.
Our muddy pleasure 😜
YOU TWO HAVE GOT TO HAVE THE STRONGEST LEGS EVER. THAT MUD IS HARD TO WALK IN AND YOU TWO MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HUNT FOR TREASURES. GOB BLESS YOU BOTH.
Great to see you Andy and Josie the little stoneware jar is lovely Jaffa looks happy beautiful cat
We've found a few of these little jars and there is something quite appealing about their shape and colour! Jaffs is fast asleep on the sofa now 😻
More great finds - the sunset was amazing xx
Thanks legends 🙏 great to be out there in the evening, heading up your way for a bike race end of next month!! X
Thank you for this lovely video. Crazy rain in the UK. However it’s still freezing in Saskatchewan. Take care and see you soon. I love your cat, she is adorable.
Hello there, I do hope Spring is on its way now for us both! Jaffa is a super special little creature 😻 x
Hello Josie; hello Andy. It's been a real pleasure to see you two MUDLARKING friends. Nice pipe bowls and even a nice toothbrush. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A. As always please say hello to Mamma Mudpie. Thanks again for taking me along.
Our pleasure! 😄 x
😂 The stinky bot sniffing was epic, as well as, the squishing and squelching.
Nice one! 👍😀
Yay, the Mudpies are here!! That's one of the soupiest outings yet! You found some nice items, though. I enjoyed it so much. Take care and see ya next time!!!
Thank you! Soup is a good way of describing it!😄
Come for the mudlarking, stay for the toe beans! Be well, beautiful souls!
Hello Nikki, you have to love those toe beans😻😻😻x
@Mudpies, I do love toe beans! Calico cats are so pretty. I have three sweet girls, though none are calico. One is grey, the other two are tabby cats.
Nice pipe finds and what a beautiful spring afternoon / evening you had for squelching through the mud, looking for treasures. I was wondering, were you able to find out any information about the chemist's bottle from London? The fire damage on the stoneware pot you found is such a shame. That's so heartbreaking. Perhaps you could still use it as a plant pot in your garden?
Greetings and good vibes to you both from my home in eastern North Carolina! ❤️
Great muddy day Guys! These seaside hunts are right up my street. Thanks for posting. Cheers, John.
Thank goodness warmer weather is coming! Awesome finds. I really like the Mason pipe.
Thanks Carol 😻
It's been a rainy spring here, too. I'm glad you were able to get out and enjoy!
Happy Spring to the whole Mudpie family!!! Such a relaxing walk in the sunlight! Just what I needed after a long night at work!!! Stay well 🥰🥰🥰
You too Kimberly, Spring has sprung! 😀❤️
The light reminds me of a day years ago, about the same time of year and day, looking across farm fields flooded with snow-melt! Exactly the same horizon and light… Beautiful!!
In Ottawa🇨🇦, btw.
A VERY snail-ey and pipe-y day!!
In Winnipeg. Same here!
Really enjoy your muddy outings. Thanks for the USA.
I will never tire of the mud slurps 😁
So great to see you two out and about, the pipe was my fav find as well.
Cheers! Lovely bit of decorated pipe 😻
Well-done to you both for getting out there in the mud and finding some gems.
Thanks David ya legend! Can’t wait for our next adventure, hopefully harvest some belters
That was a squelchy lark!
Love the Freemason pipe and the little amber mason’s bottle.
Great finds!
It's odd how the consistency of mud changes across the seasons! It was a pipey lark! Take care 😀
Very jolly people, in mud, lovely 😊😊😊😅

I believe the broken in half stoneware cylinder container with the black rim was an old battery. Nice pipes! Shame the swirly healed one is dead!
What great light. Some incredible finds. So glad that when you said smelly vision I couldn't smell it as was eating me breakfast 😂
It's happy smiling Josie day !!!!!! ;-) !!!!!

Loved the little golden sauce/extract bottle.
What a beautiful evening for a mudlark. Love all your pipe finds. Keep on squelching and have a happy Easter! ❤🐰
So good seeing your adventures again! Thank you so much!
I adore the relationship you both have with each. The way you live and respect each other. Please keep the wonderful videos coming. Im from Richmond Virginia. ❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you ❤️
I love seeing you guys squelching back into the mud ❤
Always two wine bottles? Sounds like my rubbish bin on a Sunday morning 😁Fab video, loving the pipes! 😃💖x
Not a bad evening of mudlarking, that bubbly amber bottle is my favourite, and I love the pipe bowl with the Masonic symbol on it.
I give you both credit for trekking out on the flats at that time of day, I know from experience here in New Jersey that there can be some treacherous sink holes. Please be careful.
Josie, I'm happy every time you find pipes, I find them to be fascinating. I'm not a smoker, but those pipes depict a time in my families history when I know my Great-Grandfather used to smoke those pipes. I've seen photos of him with those clay pipes, he was a smaller man and he looked like a leprechaun.
Take the best of care, and keep digging!
Thank you for the adventure. Wish we could see you more often. Love and hugs from Canada!
Oh! I love the old pot! What a beautiful day for a squelch! Thanks for sharing ❤️
“Let’s keep pottering around.” 😁
😀❤️
Fun day out. Glad your weather was good. Thanks.
Our pleasure 😀 x
Great finds..love watching you both.
Glad to see you Mudpies, we've missed you! Love the bubbles ini the amber George Mason & Co bottle. 😻
You were missed, good to see you splashing in the mud again.
Thanks! The mud was particularly sticky in this video! 😂x
Great to see you again, what a great mud lark with some good finds. Love the masonic pipe. Take care and see you on the next one 👍👏❤️
The pipe with the decoration on looks like the sign of the Masons
Good to see you both! How is mum Mudpie? 🌹💐 So happy spring is on the way. More treasure hunting. Love the tiny fake Bovril bottle. Can’t wait for your next video. ♥️
Hello there! Moma Mudpie is doing well. We're all going a bit stir crazy with the unrelenting rain but otherwise good! Take care 😻
2:07 Lovely Late Jarassic Age Jar!
I do enjoy watching you both, salt of the earth people,
Thank you Stephen 😊
I would use a rough sandpaper on that container that's got the fire damage it should take it right off and hopefully go down to the original glazed. I really like the small stoneware container that's beautiful perfect small vase. Most of all, I really enjoyed the light and the photo work you guys did, and your joyfulness. It did make it feel like spring has sprung.
Dad Mudpie is just wonderful!
Very muddy! Very fun! 😊
🤭🙂😝"onion!" ☺️👍😎🤔holy trio of cooking.onions,peppers& garlic!☺️👩🍳
One of my cats hates when I touch his feet.....your kitty is so sweet!
Yes the sky was beautiful that day, it's always interesting to see the weather in the UK. As much stuff as you guys find on the surface of the mud, I wonder what is deep down in that mud. I'm sure there are thousands and thousands of treasures below the surface that some will find a way to the top, others will remain there for millennia.
We often wonder about this. The complete Roman cup we found in a nearby location was most likely churned up the tides . Hoping for some drier weather now 😻👍
Pipe It, ty for taking us along
😻
Spring was on the horizon and now we’re back to January ☔️ 😂
I know, what is going on!!! 😂
Dear Mudpies family.
👍👌👏 Well, walking in this kind of mud must be quite exhausting. Sound like it was deep too. Nice finds. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and especially health to all of you.

Hooray, you're back !! Really missed seeing my favorite squelchers 😊 Some lovely pipes, bottles and sadly a knackered stoneware. All great fun mudding with you both. Stay well and looking forward to the next adventure ! Love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx

Great to see you nice folks out in the gloop. Amazing like always it's all there waiting for you to find. Fab that we can be there with you and keep our feet clean 😂😂. Nice finds especially that pipeage
That one pipe bowl looks like it had a free Masson simple on it ⚔️
Nice finds .I do like the crude stoneware that was in a fire - thinking it would be a very interesting vase .
Nice video. I had missed seeing you two. Great finds.🌷🌿🇺🇸
Always love your videos. Love the pipes today! Our cat Gali is a twin to yours. 😸
Great Mudpies muddy again. Great Video and great finds, I love the pipe bowl with the nice decoration and the Peppersauce bottle, and the cat👍🐇💐

Hello Jane, thanks so much for the bot knowledge ! Hope you're doing well and surviving the relentless rain 😂. Spring is surely on its way now🤞. ❤️x
Love your videos!! Can’t wait for you to finally get that elusive torpedo bottle!
Yaay, love it when you two are in the mud! Great finds, such a shame about that stoneware.
I know! That stoneware was epic.... take care 😀 x
What a fantastic adventure you two - thanks for taking us along with you! What a pipe-tastic belter of a squelch. And guys, wait till I tell you - you aren't going to Adam and Eve this one - but there you go finding my old stuff again 🫨
So many many years ago, I was planning my own adventure of the coast line - I had in mind a solo trip in my FLPHG (foot-launched powered hang glider) for which I obviously needed to pack a few essentials to consume on my journey.
I used my faithful old chemist bottle to carry some diluted orange squash, some sarnies and nuts etc which i stuffed in my big old stone wear jar (not the most practical storage for in-flight but very effective at keeping your grub fresh I tell ya!). I popped the lot in my nap-sack along with a little jar of hot sauce to put on my butties as I'm partial to a little extra spice.
Off I went then, take off was smooth and uneventful and I soon reached my ideal cruising altitude of about 6,000 feet - conditions were perfect and I was elated to be up there!
Anyway the peckishness started to hit so I took out my packed lunch. First I chucked loads of hot sauce on my sarnies and scoffed the lot - and washed it all down with lashings of orange squash. Then I realised - yep, I had overdone the hot sauce. My tummy started to gurgle and churn - and you guessed it I found myself in desperate need.
************************Reader discression advised for the next bit *********************
The only vessel i could get my hands on quick was my now empty chemist bottle.
Now under normal circumstances it wouldnt be a problem, but you can imagine the challenge of this manouvre whilst hanging off a piece of nylon sheeting at 6,000 feet? And yes it went a bit pear shaped for a while but eventually - the bottle was full and stoppered, safely tucked away in my sack.
Well you can imagine my relief - the moment was utter euphoria and I decided the occasion warranted a puff of baccy smoke (not these days, I geve up smoking ages ago and would never condone this filthy habit!). So out came my favourite pipe, handed down to me from my Grandad who was a Stone Mason - such a special pipe to me, sentimental value!
Obviously lighting my pipe was a total 'mare as I only had matches - and after several failed attempts I finally got her lit.
But that wasn't all that I had lit.
I could smell the distinctive odour of burning plastic - ie nylon hang glider material - OH NO!!
I grabbed my parachute - the glider was going down like Chinatown - my pipe flew out of my mouth and all my stuff, including my nap sack fell from the doomed machine - and thats when I made my jump.
Thankfully I'm here to tell the tale, I made it safe and well - largely thanks to the soft mud of the estuary creek.
Lessons to be learned here? Sure.
Take food in proper containers when you go adventuring.
Don't overdo the hot sauce - even if you totally love it.
Don't smoke near petrol - or make any spark near flammable materials.
Always tell an adult where you,re going.
Last but not least - possibly of high importance - make sure you wash your bottles THOROUGHLY and disinfect them, especially chemist bottles that smell a bit eggy.
Nice one guys. can't wait for the next one
- peace out!
Love from Bucky
PS the old stoneware jar obviously got torched along with the flaming hang glider! If you do happen to find my propeller would you let me know? Chars doods
Holy moly hot sauce!!!! Somehow you keep surpassing yourself, we will endeavour to search for your lost propeller and maybe you can fly again!? Legend status 💪👍😄❤️
Come on spring!😁
Lovely day you two ❤
Love the bonzo sherd!

You both handle that mud so well. Have you ever got stuck in any?
Let’s be honest if it doesn’t stop raining in the UK soon we’ll all need them to get about on. Lovely finds. Shame about the stoneware, could you sand it and upcycle it somehow 🤷🏼♀️
Look forward to seeing your next adventures.
Great video love watching you both. Looking forward to to watching more ❤ Happy Easter 🐣
