ikr he gives me feel like it’s worth the getting used to driving it regardless of what ppl say about it being shaky on thw hwy
- I've rode over 300,000 miles on two wheeled motorcycles before we had to go to a trike due to my wife's serious health issues. Both our sons used to ride motorcycles, but our youngest died at 23 of brain cancer.
Our eldest rode until four years ago when he had a stroke which crippled his left side. Now he can no longer operate a hand clutch or shifter of a regular motorcycle. So this Christmas we bought him a Ryker. I rode it home 100 miles at night, in the rain and 52 dr=egrees (F) and enjoyed every mile.
We have put on over 30,000 miles on Harley Tri=Glides and I can tell you I had more fun during my 100 miles trip on that Ryker than what I've had in 30,000 on a Tri-Glide.
I enjoyed it so much I even considered a Ryker for us when I trade. But I'm 69 years old and I might be too old for a Ryker. People might think I'm going through a second childhood. If I were to buy a Ryker I'd have to also buy the passenger seat for my wife and i saw a kit where you get a top trunk and two hard saddle bags. That would be ideal and the bags are lighted so you also are better seen on the road. The total cost for the Ryker, seat and bags would be less than $15,000 which sounds a lot better than the $37,000 the Tri-Glide cost.
If I keep talking I'm going to talk myself into a Ryker.... What do you think? Am I too old?? Would I look Stupid???

Well said ! I’m 51 , disabilities, can’t pull clutch or brake in on a MC so I bought a Ryker 600 ,,, love it ! Ps New Zealand here

I’d have to agree. I too am in New Zealand and have a Rally 900. I still giggle lots and can’t get over the amount of people that resonate with this machine. All the pointing, smiling, thumbs up etc you get makes you feel like Batman. It’s so cool 😎

I liked your video. You hit on all the points of why someone (like myself) would want a three-wheeler, especially one that was designed to actually be a three-wheeler and not a conversion from a two-wheeler. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 14 years old (55 now) and some physical limitations have now made a two-wheeled motorcycle impossible. I did not want to give up the freedom of being 'in the wind' and the Ryker Rally seems like the perfect solution. I am buying mine next month!
I lived in Florida for many years before I was reassigned to the Kansas City area. I will be retiring at the end of 2027 and will be moving to Destin. I already own property there for that purpose. Your video reminded me of how much I miss Florida..Thank you. Ride safe and enjoy your Ryker Rally!

I've always loved motorcycles. I have to ride. Took one of these for a spin and it was a blast, just didn't like it so much on the highway but maybe that was me. I wish they had a dual clutch version with cruise control. The Ryker looks so much better than the other models.
First congratulations on the Ryker,I can't wait to get mine. I also prefer the Ryker Rally and Spyders over 2 wheelers, just for the sake of being different and safer. I also wanted the RT Ltd or the F3s,but I went nuts when I saw the Ryker. I also felt like it was built for me. Drive safe and I look forward to your future posts.

You thought out your purchase rather well. You can make the desired upgrades to a great bike with an excellent engine. Ryker Rally makes allowances for that. I'm thinking of doing the same. Thanks for sharing, Khalil.
Thank you! I've seen a lot of money dump money upgrading every single thing on the bike, only to find out they don't really love to ride. I was happy to get something I didn't have to spend a lot modifying to enjoy. Almost a year in and I have taken my time learning my bike and upgrading the things that really matter to me.
I test drove one and I'm going to get mine in 9 days. I'm somewhat sad as I will trade in my Kawasaki 600-but I am excited about my Ryker. Been riding motorcycles for 20 yrs.

Glad I could provide you with some things to consider about the Ryker. The F3 is lovely machine as well. Riding both of them just pushed me toward the Ryker, but I've heard people who have had the opposite experience.

I could see that being the case on both sides...
I learned on a rally as well & felt like the fit per height worked great for me, but considered f3 purely for the storage alternatives.
Now with the slingmods options available I'm back to thinking Ryker...

Great video brother. I’m looking to purchase a Ryker very soon. (My wife bought a dog so I’m getting my Ryker 😂) I am 2 weeks away from taking my Can Am learn to ride class. I’m still trying to decide between the 900 and the Rally. I go 6’3”, 250 so I’m leaning towards the Rally. Thanks for the info.

i just sold my 2016 rt limited about a month ago, thought i was tired of it . today i bought a ryker 600 because i want something to play with .btw iam 71 y/o its not just for kids!

I live in Southern Illinois and I used to have a spyder rt that I have since sold but what I like about your videos is that I'm hoping in a few years I can retire and hang out in Florida and pick me up a ryker and cruise around in the sunshine state like you do. At one time I felt like going from a spyder to a ryker was taking a step back but watching videos like your makes me one to definitely pick one up...my spyder was an rt and I was wondering how the Interstate /highway ride was and I saw your video on the highway riding. What is the longest time or ride that you have done with your ryker that you can recall? Thanks again.

I've had my Ryker for almost a year now. I still have a blast with it. I've had my BMW motorcycles but after suffering a major injury to my neck and left shoulder, it actually hurt to ride. So I went three wheel and still get to enjoy riding. And I'm a bit further south than you. Down in Miami area for me.
Andrew Young where do you ride? My cousin and I both have 600s. We are in Miami Gardens. We need to have a three wheel meet and greet for South Florida Ryker and Spyder riders from Palm Beach down to Miami. Maybe meet somewhere in Ft. Lauderdale.

Love my Ryker and I have riden motorcycles the can am is a relaxing fun ride im probably going to trade my Ryker in for a spyder in a couple of years do what makes you happy i don't try and impress anyone its about enjoying your self

Have you ridden a Spyder F3? I'm debating whether to get an F3 or the 2022 Ryker Rally when they are available. I'm a little worried that the Ryker might be too small being that I'm 6 ft tall and 280.
I have! There are a couple videos on the channel of my thoughts on the Spyder F3 Limited (more storage and bells/whistles). You would fit well on a Ryker, but the F3 would give you more space and comfort (especially if you plan to ride with a passenger). In my rider education course, I got the chance to ride a Ryker 600, Spyder F3, and a Spyder RT. That definitely helped me decide which one I wanted to be my first Can-Am.
How much do you pay for insurance and license plate?
What made you decide to buy a Ryker vs a Spyder F3? Was it the price difference?
That was definitely a factor, but I'd say the biggest thing to me was taking the class and getting the chance to ride them all. I just really liked how the Ryker felt. Just felt a little more nimble and agile to me. I do still like the F3, just the Ryker aligned with my desired riding style a little more.

Is it comfortable to commute on ? Like steady speeds of 60 mph?
We'll have to ride out one day! Not too many Palm Beach county riders.
How is highways speeds? I test rode one and it was sketchy (twitchy and poor handling)
I personally love it at highway speeds, while I was a little nervous with it at first. After getting to know the Ryker more, I am very confident in its stability while going 80MPH plus on the highway. It goes exactly where I want it to and holds its position well. Your mileage may vary though.

If you don't mind me asking. How tall are you. I'm looking at either the Ryker 900ace or the Rally, but I'm 6 ft about 250 and I wanted to see if it's big enough for a guy my size.
Definitely man, I'm 6'2 and I weigh a little more too. The Ryker Rally handles me perfectly. I have a comfort seat which allows you to sit a little further back.
Im 6’4” 250lbs plus, and i fit great!

I have a video on me riding one out in Las Vegas, great bike. Feels bigger and less nimble but the power makes up for that.

GYORGY LAKATOS I personally got my Ryker at Broward Motorsports off of Okeechobee and Congress. My experience there was alright, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend them. They definitely could have handled certain things better than they did.
