    Spend $8 on a bottle of Rain-X for your helmet shield, mirrors and if you get a windshield! It might work on your camera lens too. The difference is amazing and it lasts a year or more. If you can afford another $5, buy the Fog-X wipes for the inside of your helmet shield!

      Rain-X is awesome!! Love that stuff, lasts longer than on a car with the wipers wiping on it.

    From my experience, any three wheeler is much safer than a two wheeler especially in the rain. I own a HD Tri-Glide and it is safer than my previous motorcycles which were two wheelers. But I drove a Ryker 100 miles home, in the rain, at night, and 52 degrees (F) for our son's Christmas present. What I leanred is the Ryker is even more safer than my Harley. I kept my speed between 60 and 70 mph most of the way home on the Ryker and the rain nor the wet roads were ever a problem. The Ryker handled beautifully and was never a worry. If I weren't so OLD I'd consider one for myself.

    Thanks for explaining riding the Ryker in the rain I honestly think today's drivers in general should learn that motorcyclists and others are way more at risk than regular vehicles Especially in more slippery and somewhat dangerous conditions ( ik some explain that but at the same time they need to go a little more in depth about those situations)

      Obama is jesus 11 very true, it’d be nice if cars were more aware of motorcycles in general, but especially in the rain.

    I went on a charity ride once when I was selling bikes in the 80’s. Rode a Goldwing, talk about protection. I didn’t get wet until I stopped at lights and stop signs.

    I did get caught in some heavy mist, last year road was wet but I enjoyed it, lol. I think I would use RainEx on the visor so it will best off better. Works on my car windows so why not the visor. Good video. Love your calming voice. Stay safe.

    Had mine swing the back tire out about 80degrees in heavy rain. Only recently found out there are 2 set of wear markers on the rear tire one is specifically to let you know your tred is too low for "safe" riding in wet conditions.

    Given, riding two or three wheels in the rain requires caution. But, if you are dressed for it, and use proper precautions, it is ok and can be pleasurable.

      Rain-X makes a water repellent specifically for Plastics, I use that when I clean my helmets and water rolls off a lot easier.

    My Spyder RS is pretty good in the rain. I've got stuck a couple times trying to roll from a stop and the tire just spins and shuts down. I really have to feather it to get it moving in the rain.

    Why don't you get an RV and tow your bike...that's my plan. Do you any suggestion what to use for towing? Can we use Flat tow?

    • @3WheelKhalil
      @3WheelKhalil  Před 4 lety +1

      Joe Dehitt I’ve looked into smaller Toy Haulers that I could tow so that’s definitely a possibility. Also looking into making my own enclosed trailer/RV conversion. Many possibilities.
      The Ryker has to be towed on a flat bed or enclosed trailer. Towing directly will likely ruin the transmission.

      I'll have to get back to you when I do one, it probably wouldn't be ideal mainly because a lack of cruise control and the somewhat limited gas tank. However, anything can be a tourer if you tour with it, but it's definitely not built with that in mind.
