Not necessarily, depends on the bark. From what I know of dogs and I don’t know everything, but it seems like fast, erratic barking usually is a sign of aggression OR just over-excitement. Occasional, spaced out barking might just mean it’s trying to get the attention of something. Again, I’m not claiming authority because I’m not an expert, but my dogs bark at me all the time and it’s usually just when they’re excited or they want something really badly.
