It was helpful.. Thanks B&Q.
Very well done, simply shown.
Thank you, Sandra! 😊
Very good video refelting the shed roof tomorrow
This was really helpful and clear- thanks very much!
Glad it was helpful! 😊
it's very helpful
Very clear instruction thanks
great video
do a part 2!
I agree wholeheartedly!
4:15 Excellent video, which I have just followed without problem! THANK YOU! I would just add that for the overhang on the four corners, I followed the presenter’s instruction for the centre overhang, i.e. cutting at the join, folding under and nailing down. That bit seems to have been missed from the guide.
Glad you found it helpful 😊
Good constructive video.
I always recommend sticking the roof felt down with bitumen under the whole sheet to stop any wind getting underneath. Loads of sheds get damaged every winter where I live in the North East, by wind ripping the felt off the nails.
Would you just paint the bitumen over the wooden sheets then place the felt over the top, then nail?
Use bitumen everytime personally
This has just happened to me
@@simoncloake8051 spot on mate , proper experienced advise, you know exactly what your talking about! Whoever needs advise or unsure how to go about things needs to take note ! I've always worked with bitumen ( roll and pour) only used torch on for repairs! Take care pal! 👌👍
I always take advantage of reading the comments as well as watching the video so there's less chance of missing a trick 👍 😁
Wondrous designs to build a perfect home
nice video im making a playhouse for my daughters for chrismas give how is that siding wood paneling is install sorry im knew in wood and I like it ,,,,,,, great job
Knot a problem at all.
Mind you get it finished before knightfall.
I like this guy. Can't put my finger on it, but I enjoy watching him. He seems like a good dude.
Know what you mean. He makes it look so easy in a very friendly and helpful way. A good beer buddy!
Never judge a book by its cover.
He was on Blue Peter with John Noakes@@wesleypresley1000
I find it easier to just put the roll out on top of the shed, give a little overhang, roll it out to desired length add another bit of overhang then cut it,
That's another great way to do it! 😊
@B&Q really helpful video. If you could please add shopping list with links to B&Q under the videos.
Hi there, there is a list of items used at the end of the video. However, thank you for your comment, we'll have this reviewed internally 😊
How do you stop it leaking with the nails???
Hi, if you ensure you use the correct tools and materials and follow the video step by step, you shouldn't have this issue 😊
2:55 jumps down and breaks both legs 😂😂
🤣👏
What type of wood is best for the fascia boards on the overhangs?
Hi, you can choose from a range of woods. The type of wood you choose is important, you'll need to understand how to care and maintain its quality and durability. Hope this helps 😊
@@bandq That literally does not help at all. They asked what wood and you failed to provide even one option.
@@bandq Yeah but what actual WOOD do you recommend? Name a type of wood we can buy in your store!
you're so functionality
This tutorial is excellent but those new to this and doing their bigger garden sheds will struggle to get the right measurment and the right tools. Many thanks
How do you calculate the vertical fascia board angle where the 2 boards meet in the middle?
jameswburke use a protractor mate
and divide by 2 ?
Lightly nail one fascia inplace and mark the vertical cut at the apex.take fascia off and cut.use that as your guide for the other side
To put it really simple, offer up into place the fascia get a boat level, hold onto fascia when the little bubble is between the lines.... Mark it with your pencil ✏️👍
I can't get at the back or one of the sides how can i secure the felt . I can't get a hammer in?
Hi there, we have 2x RoofPro Shed Felt Adhesives that would be suitable to use instead of nails

no drip edge......

Based off the title, I think this video was just about installing the felt. From my (limited) understanding, the drip edge would be installed afterward (perhaps in another video).
Instructions uncleared nailed myself to the roof
Hi, Joe! Oh no 😓 If you need further assistance with any part of the video, please do let us know and we'll be able to help! Thanks 😊
