What I did was make a living space and a piano space with some chairs. It turned out very cozy.
Also climbing walls and bookshelf’s are the same size , like almost exactly the same
I was caught off guard by the giant inventory because I’ve stopped playing NH and started playing NL again, and you have like 2 and a half small rows of space in that game.
At least it’s better than Resident Evil.

I used simple panels as a room divider but I never thought about using bookshelves as a room divider! It looks pretty cool :)
Using bookshelves is a great room divider. I'm gonna have to try that.
They look pretty decent on both sides! I despise using the climbing walls inside. Once the camera turns away from the pretty side of the wall, I hate the room

I don’t think there is a way to hang all your villager’s photos in a room without making it look like that’s who you’ve killed

a tip that helped me enjoy house decorations a lot more is not filling every space on a table or desk, for example I put only one item in the middle of a table which makes it look less crowded, I still like the room though!

I have themes to all my rooms, and I kinda love it. My top floor uses a lot of the Imperial items and even has a koi fish :>, my bottom floor is a pirate captain’s quarters, my middle room is a pink/white living room, left room is a brown guest bedroom (with a pet turtle), my back room is a diner, and my right room is an orange/white college dorm :)
I also only have the interior of my house completed the way I like it, cus decorating the rest of the island is harrrd :(

haha, when you share an island with other people it feels like your house is the only thing that's truly yours to decorate. which is why my home and yard are always meticulously decorated and my island is still mostly empty. (we literally don't have an incline)

Sadly the only way you can get the real house, is to move them out and either Amiibo them in or find them again. As I've had to do that with Agnes & Tangy.
