I have the latest generation Fabia, the Rapid is a slightly larger version of the Fabia, sitting in between it and the Octavia in the Škoda model line up, an ideal choice if the Octavia is too large and the Fabia doesn't quite have enough room, as was mentioned in this review, the Rapid's party piece really is the luggage compartment space !!!, it is amazing considering the size of the car !!.

Had mine nearly 5 years, awesome little car. I have a Saab Convertible too but the Skoda is what I take most times!
Does it have cd player?
I've owned a 1.2 petrol Spaceback for 2 years. Very spacious inside, good fuel economy, cheap to insure, cheap road tax. cannot fault this car, great value for money. You can get an as new 1 year old one for less than £10,000, great buys!

I also heard about that skoda rapid eats lots of oil so can you tell me axact or rufghly how much?
With the 1.2 TSI (105) it has no oil consumption at all. I usually drive 10000 kms between two oil changes and the oil level is almost the same at the end of the interval.

What features do you mean? In Europe this 4 cylinder 1.2 TSI was discontinued from the 2017 rapid facelift. Now there is only 3 cylinder 1.0 TSI and 4 cylinder 1.4 TSI automatic. I don't know the Indian versions unfortunately, but if there is a 4 cylinder engine I would definitely go with that.

Absolutely not. This car is based on its own platfrom, which is derived from VW Polo platform. In addition, this is liftback and Jetta is sedan.
tomasmalin put this and the Jetta side by side. There's quite a bit of VW in this car.
I know they look similar. But mechanically they are very different.
Jetta is a 4 doors Golf. So Jetta equals to the Octavia.
Tamás Pápai Kind of...it's partly based on Golf mkVI platform, so it's closer to Octavia.
