It's the long term effects of having a sugar free diet. I think he started it in late 2015 and it definitely looks like he's been keeping up with it. Good for him.

Bro he looks more in way better shape when he was last on the Dubs, and he looks way more mobile and has better lift now! The two things that the Dubs really miss from the last two seasons are Javale McGee’s rim protection and being a lob threat, as well as David West’s playmaking off all the split actions and all the weak side backdoor cuts they like to do. Now they have all that in one player cause even though Bogut’s known for his defense, he’s also a pretty good playmaker as well.

His turnovers might seem high because the team ran a lot through him, but actually his assist:turnover ratio was very good. He was top 10 in the league in assists for most of the season, finishing equal 10th, while his assist:turnover ratio was the 4th best out of those in the top 10 of assists.
It's also worth noting that assists aren't rewarded as easily as in the NBA, which is why 3.5apg is top 10 level.

GST2 S No wonder. I was thinking how does less than 4 ast puts him at top 10. For sure other leagues don’t give ast stat as sloppy as NBA, I wasn’t considering that. Also, what you first said is my point, in NBL he organizes a lot of the offense, but if he goes back to GSW, he is mainly providing screens on offense while Green dissipates the ball more, so Bogut’s TO will probably drop significantly.
