You and Spartan helped improve my gameplay so much I was able to earn 2 nice emeralds over the tier 5 and TR6 ranked. More people need to be directed to you and Spartans channel to learn how to actually play the game we need to have rank 1 matches. Everyone that hit rank 1 should be able to play ranked match that way more or less you have two teams both with players that understand the mechanics of gameplay. Keep up the good work brotha

The power of cap points is hyper critical. I had so many arguments with DDs that would chase BBs to the edge of the horizon or not getting support when trying to cap in my DD. Well done.
for those doing ranked: i feel like the lightning is my best ship, but i was only able to get up rank 7 in the jervis. i switched to chili's maass build last night, and won the next 9 matches

verdict: british smoke and maneuverability will save you from alot of your own dumb decisions, open up some sneaky plays, but they simply don't have the hardware to win straight up duels
Great content, thanks! In a spotting and cap role… what is the thought process in the first few minutes of a game for when to use your guns and when not to use your guns? Also, when Spartan Elite43 dies with a hot mic, he spews great topics for strategy videos.
It's a fine balance between being aggressive and keeping support ships close enough to help... too aggressive and you get deleted quick too passive and you're not using your DD effectively. Playing in a division makes capping in a DD much much easier. Side note... tunnel vision is the death of any Destroyer Captain... always keeping an eye on that mini-map is a must. EDIT: Learn how to navigate using the mini-map! It makes all the difference.

a important jobb for desroyers at the end, is to protect your battleship against enemy destroyers! your battleship have no chance against them alone.. don`t have to fight them, just spot the and torpedos...

Hey Tbull, love your content! As a DD player how does your strat change from a 3 DD per team to a 4 & 5 DD per team game?
In general the more there are, the less valuable each one is. When playing a destroyer in a game with a lot of destroyers I usually just try and get rid of a few of their DDs first and then focus more on doing what needs to be done to get the win

Okay.... WOW... That Kidd is f****g AMAZING if playing right. One game, I CAPed 2 points, and contributed to destroying 5-6 targets. Only 1 I had kill shot, but most targets, once in my range, I hold FIRE down and let it cycle through volley one shot at a time. With 3s reloads, as long as I keep all 5 guns on target, holding FIRE trigger, by the time I finish the 5th shot, the first is reloaded and ready and I keep going. NON STOO firepower. The ship itself is fast and nimble, so as I holding FIRE, and holding scope, I'm zigzagging on my left joy stick back in forth, and all ships have a difficult time stopping by. I got BBs trying to run, not even firing back, and I continue rapid fire with fire starting gun boat commander. Every shot has a high chance setting fire. I'm doing that in rapid succession?? Full health BB aren't even a match for me in my groove. And of course, if I have any Ally near me, they are hitting my targets too.
That last game, I took on a BB and a DD same time, stopped a moment, fired volley of Torps as both side by side, and continued to hit the DD. Ally destroyed him last second, and I kept going on the BB. Last target for my team, he finally destroyed me as I destroyed him! 20k dmg. 1 destroyed. 82 hits on targets. 200k+ silver. That game was awesome!! Cant wait to improve and perfect my KIDD skills. I forget how many 🔥 started. All because your video. 😁😁😁😁!! Hope we meet on the battlefield one day!!

Sooo your saying The Kids is a DD hunting DD?? I like the idea... But I tried it, my first game, chasing a DD, I was caught in middle of everyone's sight and didn't last much. But that's ok!!
It was a fault line map, capture the base, 2 CAPS only. Had a large gap between either side, so instead of trying to CAP, I was hunting DD... And didn't end well.

Tbull, can you reply with a list of radar ships? I know people get all upset when you don't target a radar ship, but for a new person that does not own all the ships, it's hard to help the team. Knowing is half the battle!
Baltimore, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Cleveland, Wichita, Alaska, Edinburgh, Belfast, budyonny, schors, chapyev are trlhe ones I can think of off the top of my head. Might be one or two more
I've been playing my DDs like this for almost a year as you have illustrated this point in the past. My teammates mostly Don't play this way and I'm so tired of driving around in circles while my Team does SFA to actually win that I've stopped playing. These Campaign requirements ruin the games, not unlike WOTs with their bat-shittery.....
I see less and less dds wanna cap lately lots hide till caps are taken then wanna go launch torps then hide more and not even spot. But then you find some who are good and go cap but don't get assistance SMH. I play Cruisers a lot so when able I escort the dds from a safe spot if not available I push with them and pray are smokes are enough lol

@@blaynsaw1990 Cheers! I don't meet other Gareth's very often since i'm on the wrong side of the big water. Hopefully the first Legendary Tier DD is a gun boat. I cant imagine a balanced torpedo boat stronger than a Yudachi and I don't want to.

@@tiggerblood Yeah, that's why I do that; to get their attention.
My strategy is to fire torpedoes right next to the enemy ship to get the most hits, but this works best on versus AI targets
Sorry T, but charging straight in and capping gets you killed very quickly due to the high number of radar cruisers out there now. DDs have to focus on spotting, killing other DDs and surviving to be a key piece in the end game.
Being aware of the location of the radars is important, as is removing them. Doesn't remove the responsibility to capture and control the objectives
