Si many people dont understand what a constitutional monarch can or can't do. In this context, Charles or any other monarch is powerless, as Parliament is Sovereign, and not the Monarch. As long as there is a party with a democratic majority, he cannot do anything. The only time he could step in is that Parliament cannot physically function. It can, and it does, even though we dint likr it or want it. It's time for a reality check, and part of that is understanding how and why your country runs the wsy it does. It's time to become citizens again, instead of mere subjects. Time to make the effort to learn how yhe game id played. At least now, a hugge percentage of the counyry has been disabused of the notion that responsible government is automatic in this country. It clearly isnt, and as voters we have to start stepping up to the challenge of getting our democracy to be more responsive to the needs of the many, and not just the few. That means a greater interest, and if possible, a greater engagement beyond just 'me and mine', but 'ours.' And 'ours' is every citizen in society. Not just those not being thrown under the bus this week. We're better than this. So many groups have been thrown under the bus, and few have stood up for them and been heard. It's time we started hraring, because as Liz Truss and her cabal showed, they won't stop destroying other people, until they run out of victims. And that means nobody is safe. Tge wealthy dont even want to see those who arent like them. They don't even want to share the same front door, so can you trust your future, and your children's future to people who teach you to hate? To punch down and sideways, while they price you out of a decent standard of living? And lose your rights to boot? Choose wisely and choose well. But choose...

As of late afternoon 17th October 2022, reasonable estimates suggest that even after the reversal of the Conservative Government September Mini Budget, the cost to the country is thirty billion pound. That’s thirty thousand million pounds - £30,000,000,000.
It’s very difficult to visualise what that amount of money will buy, but if look at how much it cost to build the Royal Liverpool Hospital as a yard stick and make an adjustment for the overspending brought about by the failure of the Pfi and estimate the cost at say four hundred million - £400,000,000 per hospital then it less then three weeks the casino economics of the Conservative Government has thrown away the equivalent of 70 major hospitals.
Will the media please, in its forthcoming interviews with members of the Conservative Party and the various think tanks which support it, emphasise the extent of the damage the party has done by referencing practical examples of what these losses mean.
All of this was completely unnecessary and everyone who supported the policy should hang their head in shame and the party properly face up to the damage they have done.
