i have a semi pro 2 and have painted a few small things with it... never heard of using comet on a vehicle.. you should really be using final wash and a good microfibre towel. also that squeegee probably just made some scratches which will turn into swirl marks in the clear..
haha did a boat in key west w. my Fuji years ago and a month later customer asked " do you have chickens?". i went to look and a small part of the rear deck... yep. chicken ran across it when wet. was really hard to see. he opted to leave it, as it actually looked cool :)
Yes you can buy a vaccum motor and make a turbine. There is a great video on here about building one. Open the fuji up, there is a two stage vacuumm motor and a on off switch, inlet and outlet. Simple. Makes use your motor is "internal bypass"
Thinking about getting this spray gun in future. Most of the sites see the turbine sprayers costing a lot but saw it on one site this sprayer for 99 dollars. But have to get new tires soon and been buying a lot of stuff online this year but still wanna get this turbine sprayer soon. And go with painting with turbine sprayers in future. I don't if you can use base clear primer and sealer in the this spray gun but I rather use it with basecoat because last time painted I used the same spray gun for primer and used it on clear and saw a little bit of the primer color of the panel I was painting but I got paint runs too. I saw I was using a 1.8 tip on base which is too much but I rather use this product for basecoat only. Also just use my lvlp spray gun for clear and my hvlp spray gun that has two tip sizes 1.4 and 1.8 just use that for primer and sealer. I spent a good amount on products over the last year but rather paint on my own than have a shop paint my vehicle even though would of spent less if the shop would of painted it. Trying to get a job doing auto painting now because no experience in auto painting in a job but hope this year because am going to a job fair this weekend for a cleaning job but auto painting is what I really want to do even though cleaning jobs I have the experience and now for a higher paid cleaning job which the job fair am going to on Saturday probably will get 2-5 dollars more a hour then the cleaning job work at now but it is a public school I work at a charter school cleaning now.
Dude that $99 ad you saw is a scam. I researched 3 different websites that have had a great deal on the Fuji. They were all scammers and you can tell right away, the price, the website advertising it specializes in women's scarfs and the price! If you try let us know how it went
@@luzonesindios4110 If you could look up some videos on prepping a car and follow them to prep on your own, then $1500 is a steal. Just watch a few more videos on paint correction.
If I can make a comment Go on marketplace. You can find used units on there sometimes new units for half the price or less. All you have to do is pay for shipping and clean the unit. Most of the time the hoes will be covered in paint and the spray gun will have some paint left on the outside or it might have some paint inside. All you have to do is clean the gun or hose with acetone or lacquer thinner or he can use paint stripper on it. If you use paint stripper make sure to test a spot on the handle to make sure you do not melt the plastic of the handle. Wash the gun off completely with soap and water after using paint stripper on it then you can wipe it down again with acetone spray acetone through the gun to make sure everything is out. I purchased a $2,000 spray unit for $100 and I happen to be in town in that state and was able to pick it up so I had to pay for no shipping so there are some great deals out there happy hunting and go spray some s***

Been autobody and painting for over 45years ' I'd like to have been the fly on the wall watching I mean the fly that landed on the hood 😂 Anyways enjoyed your video.
In my 40 years, I have painted 60+ vehicles outside. Mostly after first morning dew, and a calm day. Prep is always key, making up 90% of the outcome, the other 10% is usually someone else's mouth and attitude that ruins it.
@@Chuck_Sanders I've painted several for friends myself over the years ' Most turned out pretty good , there were a couple where a bird would fly over and Take a 💩 and then there were inspect to deal with ' The biggest problem I had was people / wannabe Painter's hanging around poking their fingers in wet paint to see if it's dry or not. Preparation is a major factor That's why you keep those kind of people away.

If you're in a pinch, sure. I saw a few other videos where it's been picky with materials. Seemed to eat the Low VOC solvent base just fine.
