- So as we found in the last video, the stock airbox was holding us back. So I hit up the guys @Eventuri and decided to go with their Stage 3 Carbon intake + turbo inlet pipe. Stay till the end to see the results.

Always love the RS3 content from TRH! Can't wait for the rest of the build. 💪💪 I decided to buy a 2018 Audi S5 for the size/practicality, but that 5-cylinder roar is stuck in my head. I will have to get it at some point for the pure joy of soul.

Installed a CTS intake on my TTRS today, not as pretty as yours… but had an ecu and a transmission tune from UM yesterday. This car moves!
Good to see how the intake made such a difference.Could we see a screamer pipe on this in the future? That would be madness on the rs3.

Eventuris are crazy expensive for an induction kit but damn they are pretty!
there is still a gap between the inlet pipe and the pipe with the filter, a lot of hot air can get in that way.

Do like the eventuri look. Does the filter bowl housing just rest up against the intake? Looks like when you rev the engine, it separates just after the 6:00 mark.

Watching and typing - anything need to be reprogrammed with these mods? Or more 'plug and play', pending you swap out the parts. Just curious if it's a noticeable change, or to get the most out of it, I'd need to update lots more in addition. Picked up my 22 RS3

Nice one mate 👊🏼 Haven’t heard anything further than what the video mentioned, but because it’s very similar to the 8V.2 one I can’t imagine it will be long. It’s mainly the way the front duct bolts in really.

Nobody wants to talk about the low end torque loss ;-) Seems the factory did get some things right. I have a suspicion that the smaller diameter intake has a lower resonance frequency (for a given length of pipe the smaller the diameter the lower the Helmholtz resonance) so maybe for folks who don't plan to go balls out you might see less loss of low end with a 3" intake with better overall flow than stock mated to an upgraded elbow as the factory one has a big hump from the artery that's in it. I'm going with the 3" Uni, if in the future I want 4" you just buy the back bit of tubing as the rest is the same and swap out the elbow again.
Good luck, the Unitronic for RHD has had a lot of negative feedback about it rubbing even after the second iteration. It’s a pain the design of it. I agree the Unitronic engineering looks good but they need to sort that engineering issue out.

Just bought a 2016 rs3, police stopped me on the weekend. Its to low and loud, the intake has heat isolation thats also illegal they told me...heat isolation.. yes.
So you gained 24.7 hp but loss some torque 15.9 nm of torque

My stock rims weigh 56 pounds a corner. Aftermarket are 42 pounds. That's alot of unsprung weight..
