- With two laps of a circuit featuring the legendary climb of Superga as well as the Colle della Madalena, Stage 14 of the Giro features some serious climbing before the finish in Torino. Will it be enough to draw the GC men to the fore?

Nibali and Pozzovivo still fighting like champions! What a stage! 😍
"Fighting like champions"??🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This isn't Boxing or MMA 🤣😄😆😆🤡🤡
@@CowneloAlvaroid lol what a stupid comment
@@CowneloAlvaroid seems like you don't understand that the word "fighting" doesn't only apply to full-contact sports. To me cycling is the pure essence of fighting. Why do you even argue? 😂
Nibali was the biggest surprise today, he was able to stay with Carapaz, Yates and Hindley. Three champions in the top 10, besides the ones you mentioned Christian, Mister Valverde is also doing well this Giro
@@mariobahama Valverde is always impressive! Despite the little gap he gave to the others today, he did such a great stage!
Carapaz took the maglia rosa on stage 14 of the 2019 Giro which was also the shortest road stage of that edition. He also took the lead by 7 seconds just like today.
My boy Almeida needs to upgrade his descent skills
is doing great so far
So far he doing great and most of time All alone
Seriously download the upgrade already
I think he like to suffre...
@@NunoJoel sozinho em que sentido? Ele corre como melhor lhe assenta, ritmo.
What a stage! Love the uncertainty, and seeing contenders actually have to struggle and fight on their own sometimes without a superteam around them.

BoraHansgrohe did just a spectacular ride and made the stage extrem exciting!
Definitely the best stage of this years Giro. Just imagine having Bardet in the mix today…
This Stage was better as the whole Tour from Last year! Its so nice to see how thrilling a grand Tour can be without Pogacar!
I agree no Pogacar just makes it better.
the first week of the 2021 Tour de France was great aside from the crashes, but once roglic was dropped and pogacar took a 5 minute lead it got boring real quick, except for the breakaway stuff and mark cavendish.
Pogastrong 💉💉💉💉💉
This stage was great but this Giro has been dull as fuck. Awful parcours
@@whatwelearned I think Blockhaus was good but there were a few stages that were really dull like Etna. To be honest I think its just typical Giro, all the favourites want to hold something back because of the brutal third week which means that final week is extremely exciting but its a bit of a bore beforehand.
So happy for the winner. great how he bounced back!
This stage was amazing 🤩
Great stage!! Gcn is doing a great job of covering it too. Especially Rob, great commentary.
Climbs here are insane..
my beautiful city! Torino and Piemonte, pure beauty!
Exciting last week ahead. The top three in GC all with the possibility of winning - really depends on their legs and the legs of their team support. On paper Carapaz should win.
It's his to lose. Ineos planned this carefully for today and this is where they planned to start controlling the rest of the race. Great day🤘🇬🇧
What a beautiful part of the world
Great race, spectacular adventure, every single day another surprise, hang on everybody for the next days to come, any riders is suuuuper hero, every winner we are nuts happy guys
well done Yates and we'll done to all as they were battling with the heat as well as the climbs today.
Just want to say great coverage and great pronunciations, very professionally covered
Yes, I really enjoy the narration/commentary of these videos.
Carapaz es un ciclista paciente, inteligente, luchador. Vamos Richard
O bota lume 🔥 tem de largar o travão a descer
Yates is very good at giving up a huge amount of time early, if he doesn't feel he has GC legs under him.
Immediate switch to stage wins.
I like his style, a real gladiator on the bike; they breed 'em tough op north!
@@ohshitnotanotherknob eh up! Yes indeed. We do breed 'em tough up North!!🇬🇧🤘 That's our lad! Great ride from him
Excellent.
Awesome trade offs in the front.
Wonderful vid
Very exciting stage. We tried a new kind of analysis of the post-race interview. 17 "yahs" in Jai Hindley's interview. Seems like "yah" is the most common word in cycle-speak. Could be because the person interviewed is exhausted beyond belief! ;-)
Go Jai!
Big dog! Great win!
Ineos carefully planned this and executed it well. They plan on controlling the rest of the race now. Let's see how they are working as a team. Usually the best in the peloton at doing that but let's hope no mechanicals or anything else happens. GREAT DAY TODAY. YATES FOR STAGE WIN AND INEOS IN THE LEADERS JERSEY!!🇬🇧🤘
This was the stage most of us expected a good shakeup and it happened. Awesome ride for Yates🇬🇧 and no surprise to see Carapaz in the leaders jersey now! Now let's see what Ineos has at this Giro. This was carefully planned and well executed. They knew exactly when they wanted to take Maglia Rosa and now they KEEP it. That's the plan. Carapaz to top podium position from here on. GREAT DAY FOR GREAT BRITAIN🇬🇧🤘 Stage win by Yates and Ineos🇬🇧 made their move🤘 ABSOLUTELY GREAT DAY FOR GB🇬🇧 and myself🇬🇧🤘
what a good move by Carapaz! about time IGD are back in pink!

Congrats to Yates for the victory !!! He's always dangerous and should be on the podium again !!!
GREAT DAY for GB🇬🇧 TODAY!! YATES for the stage and now Ineos🇬🇧 plans to control the race. This Giro is Carapaz' to lose. On paper he's the clear winner. Hope nothing goes wrong
Why is the previous video hidden ???
Imagine the best placed rider in GC of your team is a 42 year-old :D
Valverde representing my age group.
thats the beauty of cycling..long career
Movistar is really going to suck in 2023 when Valverde retires. We'll see who they manage to lure over to fill his huge shoes, but who would want to join that shambolic team??
@@chrispearson8163 hes a GREAT rider but he's just a stage winner for the last several years. It would blow the lid off of cycling if Valverde won a GT now at 42.
1. All stages should be a little shorter like this.
2. I want to ride that course. That road was laid out by a drunken mariner on shore leave.
3. Juan Lopez is the new Thomas Voeckler.
There are few Voeklers. In today's cycling, big $$$ determines almost everything. A big heart heart gets broken. Only a few countries would even value an "almost" guy. Here in America "if you're not first, you're last" brought us Mark Maguire, Marion Jones and Lance. We need more Voeklers and fewer Pogacars, Froomes and Contadors.
How are we on stage 14 already?!
Astana 🇰🇿 Qazaqstan team Nibali 🇮🇹 🦈
Does anyone know what this tune is called please?
Yates just needed to self destruct and get the pressure off in order for him to perform.
@Val O'Connell i did not know he had knee issues, if he did then i take it back.
03:01 "Welcome to the hell! (Benvenuti all'inferno!) 😄😄😄
GREAT DAY FOR GREAT BRITAIN!!! YATES FOR THE STAGE WIN and INEOS IS NOW IN CONTROL OF THE RACE! The INEOS train will be in full effect this ENTIRE WEEK!! LET'S GO LADS!!!
Sorry, but did you really just say '3,000m of climbing packed into the SECOND TWO THIRDS !', wonderful, I must post it off to Private Eye ! Love the recaps, I watch every one (when I haven't seen the stage) and the GIRO is (for me) the best grand tour, please keep them coming.

CARAPAZ!!!!
It's his race to lose. Ineos carefully planned this and executed it well so they plan on controlling the rest of the race now!!
I hope the giro come to. Australia 🇦🇺
What does it mean "the second two thirds"? How many "two-thirds" are in one unit ... ?
Two of course. The first half of the second two thirds is the second half of the first two thirds.
😂🤘
Go Grenadiers!
Cmon Jai!!
what happened to the Ineos train?
They have planned this carefully. They didn't do much of anything the first 2 weeks. That was the plan from the beginning. They didn't have to control the race or defend the leaders jersey but now they have stepped to the front and their plan is to control the rest of the race to the end!! This is where we see the famous Ineos train in full effect. Let's hope they are strong. No reason why they shouldn't be on TOP FORM!! This is Carapaz race to lose. In paper he is the clear winner!
Cursed thumbnail Carapaz looks like Scream(movie)
Almeida is going to be a strong teammate for Pogacar in the TDF. It will be interesting to see if he tries to be a GC contender of his own, though.
Almeida ain't going to the Tour...
I think Almeida will want to skip the TdF where he would definitely not be the leader and focus on the Vuelta, which he is yet to participate in. Perhaps we could see him and Pogacar together then.
They will perform together in La Vuelta ciclista a España.
Sabia que no le durario la maglia rosa a Pello, creo que Carapaz y Dimon son los que pueden garsr el giro

Bad rumors say...if you want to check the hell heat. . .visit Turin, l think riders will never forget this hell day, l start to feel sick for poor boys facing this agony, when cycling is becoming a ... deadly trap, could l dare to ask them..go slow? Save efforts, there's another week ahead of climbing, l start to feel sick guys, do not tell anyone Ok?
Stop with these dots
what in the hell are you talking about
Tell them riders stay slow and save efforts, next day climbings will be a hell torture...l do not even want to think about it guys, l feel like getting sick already poor boys, what a massacre game this one
Why do you put spoiler in title of the video? I wish you would not.
There is no spoiler in the title wtf?
Are you mad? There's no "spoiler"!! This was the day the real cycling fans EXPECTED a big GC shake-up so no surprise there.
@@kenkaniff8428 Not mad. I just like as much surprise and suspense as possible.
@@davidmakinson1263 but there's no "spoiler" in the title tho. Anyone that knows enough about cycling knew this would be the first real shake-up in the GC battle. There just isn't any "spoiler" in the title.
Wtf happened to carthy? Dude went from beating Carapaz and Roglic on Mortirolo to folding instantly today. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I’m still disappointed.
@Val O'Connell yeah, it’s been frustrating to be a fan of them this season. I know they all got sick early season after a few promising results in like February, but I’d have hoped for them to be coming back into it by now. Guerreiro and Powless had top tens in Flèche and LBL, so they’re clearly not doing too bad, but the team’s in the danger zone for relegation, they gotta start sealing the deal on some Ws soon.
@Val O'Connell Bettiol missed the second half of last year with ulcerative colitis. He couldn't do a single race after the Olympics.
I'm guessing he's far from 100%. While he could start races, even finishing them has been a struggle for him at the highest level.

I love your content but why this commentator Robbie McEwen? Does anyone really enjoy listening to him?
Can someone get word to Bradly Wiggins that he doesn’t need to reference piss or shit in every commentary. It was funny the first 10 times but now wearing a little thin.
What you on about? I don't know what you're referring to
So happy for Simon..... but what's the deal with the masks on the podium??? This is May 2022......
There’s still covid going on. Ask peter Sagan about it.
@@frankburn6312 I bet you and I both know masks don't work.... the virus is everywhere..... people need to accept that..... until the people who matter take personal responsibility, any other tactics, like masks, are mere show.
@@CAIrondad you lost your bet.
The teams and race organizer are super cautious with people outside the "bubble" because if one rider result positive even with no symptoms they are out of the race and if even more people are positive the entire team could be thrown out.
did you even see the start of the video? Bardet is sick and couple of others have been now, I am sure riders are more than willing to take that precaution so they don't have to quit like others have.
And just like that! All the Bini viewers are GONE & no longer posting comments 🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️
So much for bringing a new fanbase to Cycling
What is wrong with you man? Of course they cheer up their guys and if he isn't in the race what are they supposed to comment? Also if you watched the race you would've seen so many Eritrean fans with their flags on the road, just loving the sport. I really don't know what your intention is with that comment?!
In the Eritrean cafe next door to my house they still watch. :-). Great to have new fans coming in and taking interest in these races. And with tesfatsion, a second Eritrean is still in, isn't he?
I hope they are still watching. The "cycling fans" will be, the Bini "nationalists" won't. I sure am glad all those inane "#1" comments are done with.
@Mats Rosenkranz What's wrong with you?? Seems my comment went right over your head 🤡🤣
@@CowneloAlvaroid ratio bro that's all I'm saying
When the king returns, he will be the first. Where is Biniam girmay, the son of Africa?
He is out of the race, after he got a bottle cork in his eye when he was celebrating his stage victory. he is still lucky tho, he could have been blind in one eye...
Just STOP IT!!! He's out of the race!! He's not gonna win anything cos he was too stoopid opening the champagne bottle. I thought we had heard the last of the Bini fans but here you are STILL talking about him and how he's the king😂 just STOP IT!! Give it up!! He won ONE stage!! It's not like he dominated the sprints!! He ONLY won ONE STAGE!!! You people are lunatics😂🤣
