agreed... any effort they put in was completely lost on the audience.
Yeah only thing I noticed was the hair waving in the wind... I think we're too used to camera editing trickery where background can fade in and out to the point I didn't even notice the change.
Yeah I missed the trick also, I couldn.t remember what the room looked like at the start.
Im not sure what was scarier, the wall falling mere inches from our heads or Wes' hair in this video!!

The opening shot for this video reminded me of the scene from that 70 show when they would do the roundtable discussion all in one shot. They also use Lazy Susan to do it.

Loveeee these kind of crazy single take videos with awesome illusions and things. You guys never cease to amaze me. You guys seem to keep referencing back to the great older days of magic instead of the really cringy stuff you see most magicians doing nowadays which are like 99% editing, camera tricks, cuts, etc.

This is heckin cool. Knowing how it works really adds to how cool it is for me. It's like after reading a book, going back and trying to catch all the foreshadowing.
I do believe this trick missed the "beginning" state of the magic that made us amazed at the "end" state. Everything went so seamlessly, that at the end, I was still wondering when the wall will come down and I missed the "whole room was empty and now full of people" trick. I thought the room was dark and now they're just turning the lights on to reveal what's in the background.
So grateful for this man 🙏🏻. Amazing lads 🤟

I think the only change I would have made is something to mask the "ledge" of the wall thickness around the table... but that is only from seeing it afterwards. I only knew something had changed in the environment from Eric's hair doing the crazy dance. Fooled me otherwise. Maybe more gel for the boy would have helped? xD

I knew something was up when Erics hair was blowing around. Maybe a bunch of gel or hairspray would have made it absolutely perfect.

When I first saw it I was expecting a clothing switch between you all because it sat on Eric for a bit but that's so much of a more impressive trick that you guys shower behind it.
I thought the camera was on a dolly of sorts, always being operated from overhead, with some top-notch gimbal for supreme stability. Post would've been hidden behind one of you guys, as the camera had a _Tarantino_ "spinning & aiming from below" approach in the take.
The falling wall, would've never guessed. Must admit you took some serious risk there, as you said. Risky stunt for the lead cast! 9 out of 10 TomCruises! 👍😂

Finally figured it out. Wes looks like an older Spider-Man!
The same effect could have been done with no dropping wall. All you would need to do is bring in the other tables and extras as the camera rotated and lift a canvas wall into the ceiling.
Yeah for sure. That’s a great call. However our goal with these is to think of the most ridiculous “reveals” not the smartest method.
