Dang, kinda disappointed. hoping this picks up a bit and more emphasis on the magic with authentic reactions. Unfortunately all the reactions and hyped attitudes were too forced. Difficult to prank someone when they know they are part of a tv show I guess.

It appears that the producers have attempted to recapitulate “Impractical Jokers”, with a magic theme. A group of friends go out and prank the unsuspecting public with tricks and inside joke contests. Hilarity ensues.
I dig Ramsey, but this show is a reheat of an old classic. It lacks authenticity for that reason, which is exactly what draws people to his content on YT

This is what TruTV wanted 'The Carbonaro Effect' to be. It's a fun concept, but it's so scripted it takes away from the natural chemistry of the lads.

The problem with Magic shows is usually the audience, many people do t understand that a true magician doesn’t use cheap tricks and do t use stooge audience members, what you see on tv is what they can do in front of you, to do anything otherwise would cause a big stain on their career, kind of like Kris Angel, he got awfully close by using the audience reaction from the original trick but redoing some tricks just for the camera to make the trick look better on TV (specifically levitation). That’s *almost* the type of thing that will get you criticized relentlessly by other magicians.
I really like this show, Chris and WES are really good magicians, the other two I haven’t heard of but I’m definitely going to check and see if they have a CZcams channel as well. :D it was a good show!

@@Swerve2987 No. I really liked it. This show does not have any ground breaking concept in magic like David Blaine's specials, but I think we had never seen magic being presented like this. Bodies having fun and pranking each other with magic. It is cool to see magicians not taking themselves serious, but taking magic very seriously. It is good magic in my opinion.

I wanna know how the car trunk trick worked? How'd they get inside?
That's probably the most obvious one. Many cars have access to the trunk through the back seats. They literally just got in the car while they knew the viewer would be distracted, folded the back seats down, and rolled into the trunk.
