Hey, guys, welcome to another episode of the Art of Health podcast. I discussed 12 potential reasons for short-term weight fluctuations in one of my the last episodes, which I will link below if you missed it. In today's episode, I want to address eight potential reasons why your weight is stagnating. And by stagnating, I mean why your weight doesn't move anymore at all for at least the last 2-4 weeks. This is how I define a plateau. Everything below that time frame isn't really a plateau because sometimes a caloric deficit and certain behaviors just need to accumulate, or your period might occur, and that's why your weight hasn't been conclusive for the last 1-2 weeks. Everyone who listened to my previous episode and uses my app knows now that your cycle can lead to temporary water retentions, which can hide an actual lower weight. So, as we have defined the term plateau, let's dive into its underlying reasons so that you can move on and keep making the progress you aim for. Because I understand that weight stagnation is frustrating, but there is ALWAYS a reason for it. And in today's episode, we will discover the seven most common reasons I see with clients when they are on their weight loss journey.

I think I have issues with stress and unfortunately weight doesn't drops.
I went from being on bed all day barely get 2k steps and eating over 2.5k+ , in walking 10k steps, running x3 per week( short runs 20mins) and working out 4-5 days a week AND a caloric deficit ( reasonable one 350).

I have a diagnose of Pcos, insuline resistance and hipothyroidsm, Ive tried calorie deficit with a meal plan designed by a nutritionist but I have to Check now on my hormones rather than my diet. If any of you dont see results after many efforts you should Check and find the reason behind.

Happy Holidays!

1200 is really low. Your body could be going into its spare modus to save it. Try enting 1600 and move more a day.
