    Beauty is in the eye of beholder. The last rifle leaves me a bit cold, just a bit too OTT for my taste. Mind you at these probable retail prices they'd never within my budget anyways.
    Interesting guns.
    Am I correct in saying these and the SKAN were the first modern bullpups?
    Enjoyed the talk through, chaps 👍

    I'm just getting my early morning fix of hot air in before I head out to the range. Great show again, lads. Keep it up. Greetings from Alabama.

    Massive thanks for another great video guys. Never heard of some of the rifles and now I love and hate you in equal measure as I now want one of the limited editions! 😂
    Glad Gareth seems to be getting better and love the still photos at the end as the wood is so hard to do it justice on video.

      Hi Lee, from what we know, the factory preproduction rifle was kept by SportsMatch as John Ford’s own rifle. The Air Gun Magazine giveaway of this particular rifle is rumoured to have been without any serial number, which is speculation amongst the collectors of these fine rifles. Myself & Gareth have tried to find out more but unfortunately there just isnt a lot of info out there, aside from what’s in the online forums and old magazine articles.

    Every days a school day…. I knew nothing of these rifles cheers for that 👍🏻
    And thanks for mentioning the importance of floating barrels,I find alot of shooters know nothing of this and it should be spoken about more 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Lovely rifles, what about covering Adrian Hartley and his Stalker custom rifles ? I’m lucky enough to have a Cheetah sub 12 in .177

    Hello Gentlemen,
    Thank you for your interesting video. With great respect to you, bullpups have never done it for me. I love the ordinary, conventional air rifle.
    That said, however, there is some beautiful carving done on the stock and someone very skilled has spent alot of time there.
    It's a beautiful piece of kit, but with great respect, not for me.
    Thank you.

    Great video but can't say I found them that good looking and No.15 was a bit to special to be good looking!

    Wow, that looks like an alien weapon lol, just by interest how would it perform against a modern rifle of similar value ?

    • @hotair4269
      @hotair4269  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi Clive, they both shoot superbly well tbh. I’m sure they’d hold there own against a modern rifle
      Of similar price and spec. Maybe a future episode idea ;)

    Mmmmm,not sure about this one especially the last one in the video to me its one ugly looking rifle . I remember these coming out ,they were in Airgun world mag and even then i wasnt sure . Looks better in standard format to my eyes .

    • @hotair4269
      @hotair4269  Před 8 měsíci +2

      There both original formats mate, just No 15 was given the full works by whoever ordered it originally. One man’s chalk is another man’s cheese. The beauty of everyone having individual taste

      I had a Mk 2, I ordered it in late 1989, took 3 months to arrive (had a Daystate FTR in the meantime) the GC was billed as the Rolls Royce of air rifles, the finish was perfect on it. I can't really remember the SN though it may have been 84. Mk 1 & 2 had 5 slots on the muzzle brake, 3s had 3 slots. None were called GC3s. The Scimitar never did it for me, a freind of mine owned one and several standards, Inc Terry Does match rifle. GC stood for Gerald Cardew.

    • @hydraglide74ci
      @hydraglide74ci Před 8 měsíci

      The GC2 trigger was always its weak link.
