The character of Rei Ginsei was not a shapeshifter. He was a mutant with the ability to control dimensional space. Also, the Count's daughter's name is pronounced Larmica. 3:01
Furthermore, the werewolf was a separate character from Rei, not one in the same.

valid points. I'm going strictly by the 1985 OVA which saw her name change from the novel to Lamika. Originally you are right her name is Larmica. It's possible due to the age of the dub that it was a mistranslation of her name. As L and R are often interchanged.
