- Cyberon was first released on VHS in 2000, 12 years later it would get a DVD release along side other BBV films such as P.R.O.B.E. and Do You Have a License to Save This Planet. It only has some new updated effects as the original effects hold up quite well compared to BBV's other work.
Special thanks to DanTheMan2150AD / @dantheman2150ad
I haven't watched many of these spin offs - this looks really interesting though
Great!
This is what the Cybermen should have looked like in nightmare in silver.
I would have liked to see the classic 80s cybermen but updated slightly. Like the ones seen in Silver Nemesis with the chrome look.

No, they have no connection to the Cybermen, not being made by the BBC. In this film they were more like ghosts, however in other Audio and Novel appearances they end up just being Cybermen rip-offs.
@@LicencetoWho But they look and sound almost like the Cybermen.....
@@jamieolberding7731 Well, originally they were created as Cybermen stand-ins after BBV lost the rights to use the Cybermen, however in the new Cyberon anthology - which is a great book, although it is a pity BBV has recently nosedived due to the owner making unethical choices - the Cyberons are fleshed out further to become more distinct from the Cybermen, with the Cybermen being hinted to be only a distant "cousin".
@@Toby_Price (I know I'm off topic, but hear me out): Kind of sounds just like the distant yet almost similar ancestry between the pacifist Vulcans and the more belligerent warmongering Romulans from Star Trek. They both have a very long yet interesting backstories on how each of their TWO races became separated from each other.
I thought they had done this for their final scene too?
Surprisingly no, they only did it with this one scene as most other scenes the Cyberons were already in this sought of form, for some strange reason though when Tom tries to kill Lauren the Cyberon is in its original form.
@@LicencetoWho I see, thanks.
Anyone looking for these films I would suggest www.galaxy4.co.uk/ its the best way to get them and supports Galaxy 4!
The original looks way better.
