    I got a Chinese machine. I was using epsons before. The heads after some time kept getting clogged. The Chinese ones are made for dtf. When i bought the printer the Chinese engineers were on hand. There's techniques. And the ink is like £10-11 a litre and the ink lasts just as well as £60 a litre inwas paying from UK supliers. Quality is the same, but massive price difference

      Nothing compares to these printers, and we have Texpro ink for our Mimaki DTF printers, better quality, sourced here in the United States, and cost less. We have all the solutions to start your next DTF business if your're serious. And our printers come with a year warranty which includes print heads.

      The Mimaki TXF-150-75 was designed for entry level to mid level. Its designed for short runs, one offs etc. Desktop DTF machines do exist, but they (from experience) have a ton of maintenance issues and do not produce the same quality product but they do exist.

    This video got so many controversies. That's depend on one knowledge and how their level of operation. Mimaki cost double importing here, so the best choice is always Chinese printers where I'm located. I've been running 2 printers with 4x xp600 head each nearly 2 years without replacing any printhead and still going strong.
    The cons with Chinese printers mostly lie on support which could be nightmare for non or low technical owners. If you know how printers work, they mostly operate the same and fixing and maintenance are not daunting at all.
    On the bright size, the parts of Chinese printers are easily available on the market nearly everywhere so don't just need to buy from the seller only.
    One thing I just love good old XP600 head is the price which is around $100 here.
    For a 5k Chinese printers which is running daily for nearly 2 years, I've already got ROI since the first half year. With a few hudred dollars of parts, they are still hanging around without the need to replace.
    Anyways, no hate of big brand printers, they are just way way overprice here which could cost upto 40k vs. 5k with 4 heads Chinese printers.

    I have 4 Chinese DTF printers, and there are times I didn't use them for more than 10 days and the print head didn't clog, maybe small issues like the damper clogged not the print head, and the damper can be replaced for 1.50 cent from amazon. when you're done using the printer, add the solution in capitation, clean twice, close the ink dampers, and fill the capitation with solution set the control on the home position and the printhead sits in the solution and keeps it moist. best 6500 I spent per machine with 2 print heads and shipping. Mimaki TXF-150 is 26k for 1 printer, hahaha no thank you!!!

      The maintenance ritual you explained is a MUST, once I started doing something similar all my issues with print heads and print quality stopped. The biggest difference I see between major manufacturers and Chinese machines is that Mimaki for example is out of the box ready to run solution which has all the major flaws of DTF resolved and you don't really need to know anything about how it works, similar to your desktop printer, you know it works every time you hit Print and you don't care how it does it. With Chinese machines on the other hand you have to know and understand the system in order to resolve all the issues with it, once you have a good understanding of the system, printing becomes a pretty straight forward and care free experience. I think I had more issues with getting good quality inks and powders than with printer functioning properly, but that's a whole different story :D

    • @TheSwellguy123
      @TheSwellguy123 Před měsícem

      @@stefanvp5 this could be true but the thing is, Mimaki will still clog if you don’t take care of the machine, because when printing with water based DTF inks especially white ink it jas a high amount of pigment in it to make it stick to the transfers and be it a i3200 print head or a Mimaki print head the pigment ink still has to pass through the nozzles, it’s just the nature of the technology at the moment. Mimaki just has a few shinny bells and whistles to make me feel like I’m getting an out of the box solution but it still requires maintenance. Just like your out of the box regular printer , if you don’t take care of it , it wont take care of you. It’s just no easy way about it . And for 27k I’d rather buy 3 printers and supplies and have money left over for ads to start the business as opposed to thinking I’m gonna get an out of the box printer “ that’s just gonna work “ for 27k and if i don’t take care of it im going to pretty much have the same issues

    • @StraightOuttaContent
      @StraightOuttaContent  Před 5 měsíci +1

      As stated in the video from DTF superstore who no longer carries the 4 head Chinese DTF printers, they do print very fast, but they have an immense amount of problems with almost zero customer support. On top of that each print head isn't covered. So you might start out fast, but this industry is a marathon not a sprint. The Mimaki will always finish the race. Companies all over the country are phasing out these chinese machines for a reason, my advice is to take heed to the market change and adapt. Great statement though and thank you for watching.

      @@scott8193 Right, got it. So if you’re unaware we do! Sell Transfers and manufacture there right here in Houston Texas and have been since 2020 on Chinese DTF printers in which our price to print them is less expensive than your price to get them from India and there is no wait. There is a reason we decided to look for a complete different DTF printer manufacturer which has us talking directly to (soon to visit Shanghai) all Chinese manufacturers and Mimaki. Once we spoke with Mimaki, found out what they offer we decided this is the product we want to move forward with in 2024. We calculated all cost and found out that we would make 3x the money in the long run do to longer production runs and less energy used and lower maintenance. A Toyota Corolla might cost more than a Kia, but the corolla is going to last you longer and your maintenance will be far less the life of the car and keep its resale value. A used Chinese printer will never cost the same as a used Mimaki. All we are trying to do is educate. If people choose something else that’s awesome, but for the rest who are undecided we say try a Mimaki. We and a lot of major DTF companies are switching over. We will also be focusing more on large format printing moving forward as DTF will become a smaller part of our print portfolio.
